When young Skyler first approached a strange boy one night who was sitting by a running river and a small campfire, it was because of a sudden infatuation that he couldn't quite explain. Out in the woods, in the middle of nowhere, the two boys decide to spend some quiet time together. But it appears this stranger in the dark may just claim to be more than what Skyler was expecting...

Part of the Lost Soul Series and The Boot World this is Ian and Kevin's story. In the summer of 2011, they move from a rented flat in The Northern Quarter of Manchester to their own house in Prestwich. As couples do they reflect on the past and look forward to the future. Unexpected news changes their lives and gives a glimpse into the past of their friend Manny.

We have our main home in the capital of Thimbu, where we live for seven months from in the late autumn, winter and early spring, and for the rest of the time, for five months, we live in the northern Himalayan mountains, where my parents work to provide medical care and assist with education of the children in the remote of villages of Bhutan.
