An offering of poems for National Poetry Writing Month; April 2022. Some were composed in response to prompts provided to me, others not.

Colt has a violent past. He was expelled for beating up another classmate, and he and his family are moving to another town because of it. New house, new town, new start. Only Colt foresees a lot more violence in his future once he realizes his new friend, Noah, is in trouble.

Life is full of twists and turns, both expected and unexpected, wondrous and excruciating. This year’s poems for National Poetry Writing Month will embrace the curveballs life throws at us and also serve as an exploration and raw portrayal of the grieving process. Follow me, and we’ll see what’s around the bend.

Hunter and Dale are all set for the next chapter of their lives; parenthood. Having just moved to Cedrich Falls, a small town in the Midwest, they become fast friends with their neighbor. After taking in two kids in need, they soon find themselves up against the towns self proclaimed authority on what is morally right.

One is a trigger-happy military officer, the other is a reclusive doctor of archaeology. Two men with nothing but contempt for each other's professions, they come together to solve an ancient mystery scattered in fragments across the galaxy. But when their expedition's starship is destroyed, it not only reveals the reality of their discovery, but summons a terrible enemy determined to seize its secrets and make war upon life itself...

Young Tristan was looking for someone that he could truly respect and fall in love with. He wasn't expecting to find him in a series of YouTube online vlogs though! When the beautiful (And wildly popular) 'Jesse-101' ends up living in a nearby neighborhood, will Tristan find the dream boy he was looking for?

A student and his French tutor fall in love

On the darker side of the "Gone From Daylight" spinoffs, this story takes you through the night by night journey's of a man named 'Jack' in the mid 70's. Jack may be human...but he isn't so different from the hidden society of vampires, populating Chicago's streets. When he meets an arrogant visitor in the late night hours...a 'deal' of sorts is made between them. One where both secrets can be kept at the other's expense. But just how long can an agreement between two predators last? Read and see!
