This story is only for those who enjoy medieval, magical fantasy starring boys and teens. It is from The Book of Heroes, the source for “The Translator,” “The Paladin,” and other stories. It is a simple story in which the love between a squire and a young cleric becomes a political liability—because the squire is also a prince.
