When Daniel Smith got the opportunity to study at his dream institute he jumped at the chance. Getting Samuel Williams as his roommate was surely a bonus. Sam was just the friendliest and caring person ever. Nobody warned Daniel about how different Sam could be if the need arose. If you’ve read “Protector of Children” you may remember Lucas. That particular Lucas lives (or lived or will live) in Earth Analogue IV, one not unlike the one in which you are reading this except that its inhabitants include the Greek gods and at least one titan. The narrative which follows occurs (or occurred or will occur) in Earth Analogues V and VII.
