Alone among the humans with only whispered rumors to guide me, I longed for the cool meadows of my homeland, but I was on a mission. Humans plagued me. They sought me out for the magic I could weave into metal, never divining my true purpose searching among their stables.

Prologue.

When I was in college, I had a friend that worked the summers at various resorts. In the fall when school would resume, he’d hold court at lunch and tell us tales of his summer experience, showing us his trinkets, that’s what he called them. Based on those tales, I wrote the following story, Home Away From Home.

Be warned, the story involves explicit sex between gay couples. If you have read any my other stories, this will be quite different.

Jay (yes, the same Jay from “When Pain comes Back”) is happy with his Alex, but without warning someone else comes in his life and gradually he is torn between two loves, placing him for a harsh dilemma. Then an unexpected catastrophe happens, that seems to ruin his life and there is no longer anything left to choose!

It is the last part of my little trilogy “The Kingdom Boys". Then it is time for some other stuff....😊

My thoughts regarding confusion...

Legacy deals with the aftermath of the assassination of the first openly gay president of the United States. Was he killed because he was gay, or was it something far more sinister? Although based on the Naptown Tales series, Legacy stands on its own. Legacy takes place approximately 33 years in the future, however, many of the chapters will contain flashbacks to the intervening years. There are a number of twists and turns, and the ending will almost certainly be a surprise.

Sure, alien shifters lost their planet lived on Earth. Miah'd never met one, so he ignored all the gossip. Then he moved to the city for school. After years of focus he let loose on the cusp of graduation and headed to a bar with his roommate. How could one conversation about shifters hunting humans would cause so much trouble? Ambushed and trapped, he refused to give in. His life, everything he'd ever wanted, is at risk. Will he find the right way out?
