    Born Stephen Carlin Long on September 6, 1950 in Rockford, Illinois, the author was raised by his father in Minneapolis and is a graduate of The University of Minnesota. In New York from 1980 to 2000, he lived out his father’s prediction of being a jack of many trades and master of none. He currently resides in Melbourne FL.

    I love to write gay romance, from sweet to super-hot. I lean more toward paranormal/shifter and BDSM (both contemporary and historical) than anything. I've published several novels through Dreamspinner Press, including a YA novel under the pen name Hope Ryan.
