Aditus' prompts and circumstances - 16. Poetry Prompt 8 - Quatrains: Spring Words/Strong Words
Write two Quatrains. One inspired by the sights of spring around you right now (or autumn, if you are below the Equator). And a second one telling us how you feel inside about it. It can be happy or sad, or indifferent – it's all up to you! Keep the Quatrains to four lines, rhyming a-b-a-b, and 10 syllables per line.
Spring words
Tulip, daffodil, daisy, and snowdrop,
All flowers are words when nature speaks spring.
Thrushes and blackbirds nest in the treetop,
The morning starts early, now that they sing.
Strong words
With you I can hear the colors tumult,
and you help me to see the blackbird’s song.
With you this will never be difficult,
you just take my hand and I'm staying strong.
No. 7 and 8 of my NaPoWriMo adventure.
