Aditus' prompts and circumstances - 10. Haiku - Poetry Prompt 2

Write two Haiku. One inspired by a sight you witnessed outdoors, in a secluded patch of nature (either in your yard, a city park, or the great untamed wilderness). And a second one inspired by an urban sight (something that catches your eye on the street), or that happens indoors.

Nature

Leaves sail down, yellow

dog storms past at breakneck speed

the mouse slips away.

Urban

Ice crystals sparkle,

Reflecting the thousand lights,

of cars racing past.

At least I had fun. smile.png
Changed the past, flows better now. Thanks, Irri.

There's something about "dog storms" that conveys a tornado of energy so well. Consider moving "past" next to "storms"?

I really liked both of them!!! Super energetic about the dog and mouse, and one can just remember sitting by a window and seeing car lights altered by crystalline frost.

Thanks for taking on the challenge!

I love them. Thanks! Though it's half a world away to me!
But it's almost the same longitude. Right? I'm glad you loved them. Thank you for telling me. :)
