Aditus' prompts and circumstances - 21. Poetry 12 - Rondo: I carry you
Write one Rondò based on a well-known movie scene. Channel the pathos you personally know and love from a favorite move moment, like Scarlett O'Hara grubbing turnips and saying "As God is my witness…" or, the adrenalin injection scene from Pulp Fiction – you choose. Work those emotions into three quatrains, with the pivot point coming on the 3rd one.
Do you remember home, my beloved?
Rolling green hills with meandering streams,
the orchards in blossom, the smell of spring,
the taste of ale and strawberries with cream.
There is no color, no sound of water,
only black and grey and clouds of Sulphur.
There is nothing but fire. No further.
I’m naked. Nothing between me and him.
We made it this far. Let’s finish it here.
Together as one, nothing can stop us.
I give you my legs, my strength, and my heart.
And you give us back hope, freedom and love.

When I read movie scene, I had to write about one of my favorite scenes from Lord of the Rings, seeing Sam and Frodo as more than friends. I guess I stretched the rondo concept.
