Moggy's Mutterings - 39. Alone

I’m alone.
The world is turning.
I’m standing still.
All around, rushing.
Stillness reigns.
Earth may rotate
but I do not.
I’m alone.
Trapped within myself.
Standing in a room full of people.
No one willing to say hello.
In world full of folks.
I’m alone.

I think this is more common than we would expect. I've felt this many times as well, moggy. It magnifies as I get older. It doesn't bother me so much... but I notice it. We can be near invisible to the young. Well done, moggy... cheers... Gary....

i fear you are right:hug: when i was mobile and in the rehab center , i refused to let anyone sit in the corner. drove the staff nuts, because everyone wanted to sit at my table :P i just kept rearranging the dining room. the best compliment i got was very this very nice women from Germany who told me "i was the ray of sunshine in her life". i still, on occasion went to my room feeling so alone. thanks  gary, for the comments
