Moggy's Mutterings - 50. Together, We Sail
1.
Daylight hides the brokenness that is me under the deep waters of my mind.
A small sound escapes into the darkness.
The nightmare starts.
You hold me as my sleep spins, out of control.
Thrashing, screaming at phantoms of a past I can not escape.
There, on the horizon is a light.
My soul reaches out…
2.
I will hold you when the nightmare that is your past, rips through your sleep
Like a hurricane that renders ships to matchsticks.
As you fight your unseen monsters, I will watch over you
Muttering soothing noises.
Holding you as whimper in pain.
I will be your lighthouse.
I will be a safe harbor.
