William's Love - 43. Chapter 43

Honeymoon

This trip has been like a dream so far, and we’ve only pulled up at the hotel. The Fairmont, San Francisco, can you believe it. Liam had us fly business class, we had a short stop-over in Detroit. The airline had overbooked their business class seats. The choices we had were; We delay our flight and catch the next one this afternoon or economy now. Liam politely apologized to the lady behind the counter, explaining he knew it wasn’t her fault then asked for the Manager. She gave Liam a warm smile and gladly got the Manager. Liam then politely told the Manager he understood their situation, but this was our honeymoon, and he wanted it perfect for his new husband. That’s me. The manager was understanding and would also be upset if it were his honeymoon. He was a good man, thanking us for not getting angry, and bumped us up to first class. Wahoo!! It pays to be polite, even when you’re stressed.

When we got to the airport in San Francisco, there was a gentleman in his driver’s outfit with our surname on cardboard waiting for us. I looked over at Liam, and he smirked, then lead me to the man with his hand on the small of my back. I love him, he knows how to make me feel loved. The driver took our luggage bags, and we followed him through the doors to a town car that was waiting. It was a quick thirty minute trip to the hotel. It was awesome watching the city whiz by, I’d only ever seen it on television, it’s so much bigger and busier in real life. I could feel Liam’s eyes on me, he was watching me and enjoying my excitement. The driver stopped in the drop-off zone in front of reception and opened the door for us to exit the vehicle. Liam alighted first then held his hand out for me to take as I exited the car. Such a gentleman, I think I’ll be getting spoilt while we are here. Liam seemed so happy that he was able to spoil me and be romantic. He doesn’t ever ask for much, nor does he ever expect anything, the least I can do is let him enjoy this. I’m looking forward to it.

“Wow, Baby! This place is huge,” I said checking out everything in the foyer as we walked through the lobby. It really is huge, I kept looking around at the furniture, it’s so fancy. There’s marble everywhere, large plants and flower displays. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Liam had made me dress in my nicest suit for the trip here, he wanted the whole experience to be special, not just an ordinary day. Despite how I’m dressed I still feel so small and insignificant in comparison. Even the people around us are dressed in suits that cost the same as my entire wardrobe. We are just young guys from Kentucky, regardless of how we’re dressed.

Liam’s standing next to me dealing with our check-in as I keep looking around, and observing the people bustling through. He took my hand and shook it gently to get my attention, I turned toward him smiling, “This place is fancy, it’s a little intimidating.” He stated looking around, his fingers threaded through mine. I nod my head still taking it all in.

“Welcome to The Fairmont gentleman, Julio will escort you to your room,” a young latin man in uniform appeared before us. It’s a nice personal touch giving us the name of our escort. He was maybe a couple of years older, although a little shorter, his uniform did nothing to hide the muscles straining to escape. If anything the suit looked half a size too small. He gave us a warm smile, as he took the room keys from the lady at reception. Julio put his hand out in the direction of the elevator for us to go ahead of him. We walked to the elevator bank in silence, Liam’s hand on the small of my back leading me there. The doors opened, and we all stepped in, Julio pressed the button for our floor.

“Have you been to San Francisco before?” Julio enquired.

“No, we’ve been to a few states. We made a road trip from Arizona, back to Kentucky, where we’re from, last year. We also went to Florida earlier this year and Washington about a month ago. Oh, and I visited Los Angeles late last month for a workshop, but without Will,” Liam answered. “Sorry, I should introduce us. I’m Liam, and this is my husband, Will.” Liam put his arm around my waist and pulled me into his side possessively. Julio smirked and turned his gaze back to the elevator doors.

Before the silence could get awkward the doors opened. Julio held his hand out again, “After you Gentlemen.”

We stepped out and waited for Julio to lead us to our room. He used one of the cards the lady at reception had given him to unlock the suite, then directly handed them both to Liam. He entered and held the door open for us both. Julio started waffling off about the amenities as walked over to sliding doors that hid the bedroom and opening them up. Liam was paying attention to him while I walked straight over to the windows to look at the view. I never imagined anything this spectacular. After Julio had left the room, Liam came up behind me and snaked his arms around my waist. His mouth so close to my ear I could feel his breath.

“Wow, that’s an awesome view. When I booked it, I didn’t even take the view into consideration,” Liam quietly said in my ear. We stood looking at it for a few minutes, “We should grab a shower and have a rest. I’m beat.”

I blew out a small sigh, then yawned, “Me too. I am hungry though. How about you get the shower going? I’ll order us some room service and join you, make sure your tackle is nice and clean.” I snickered and reached between us rubbing the front of his pants.

Liam chuckled, “Sounds good to me,” he kissed the side of my head and let me go. He went into the bedroom, where our luggage had already been delivered while we were checking in. I rang room service and ordered Liam the biggest burger they had with regular fries, and me a cobb salad and a couple bottles of water.

<>-<>-<>

The phone next to the bed brought me out of slumber. I was interrupted from the best dream of reliving our night last night. Crap, now I’m horny again. I rolled over as Liam sat up and picked up the receiver. His naked ass cheeks taunting me as he leaned forward. I moved toward him to snatch him back into bed with me.

“Hello,” he grunted and yawned at the same time, “Huh?” “Okay!” He hung up the phone. “Shit,” Liam yawned again and scratched the back of his neck, “We have to get up and quickly get dressed.” Liam dragged himself off of the bed.

“No, why?” I said reaching for him, “I want to stay here and practice what we did last night. I don’t think we got it quite right. You know what they say about practice,” Liam chuckled dodging my hands.

“C’mon, get up we literally have one minute to get ready,” Liam walked in the direction of the bathroom.

“What’s going on?” I asked confused, “Why do we have to get up?” I asked dragging myself to the bathroom as Liam was heading back out of it.

He quickly put on a pair of shorts and a shirt, “Hurry Babe, I’ll meet you in the other room.”

Liam closed the privacy doors blocking the bedroom off to the suite to give me some privacy. I quickly brushed my teeth and hair and got dressed. I closed the bedroom doors behind me as we had refused housekeeping service and we didn’t even have a chance to make the bed. There was a lady with a rack of clothes flirting with Liam. I love watching the ladies flirt with him, he’s oblivious most of the time. Liam’s naturally charming and laid back, they all think he’s flirting with them, but most of the time he's just himself. I internally chuckled and walked over sliding my arm around his waist. His arm automatically went around my shoulders.

“What’s all this?” I asked smiling.

“Hello, I’m Jane,” The lady smiled, she’s very pretty and trying to use her flirty smile on me.

“Hi, Will,” I said extending my hand as a greeting. She shook my hand weakly but checking me out then Liam. I saw the moment she resigned, knowing flirting with us wasn’t going to help her. She stayed professional though, good on her.

“The hotel has this service, we give them our sizes and the type of clothes we’re looking for, and we get brought a selection to choose from,” Liam smiled, I frowned in confusion. “We only pay for what we want to keep. They did all the shopping for us, we don’t have to schlep through agonizing hours at a shopping complex.”

“Oh neat,” I said excitedly, “what do we do?”

“Well, I spoke with Liam a couple of weeks ago. He gave me your sizes and what type of clothes, as you can see the is a mixture. Liam wanted to have some casual clothes that aren’t probably available in Kentucky. I also brought a small collection of dressier attire, something you might wear to a party or dinner out with friends that type of thing. Everything here is from label designers, and like Liam said you only pay for what you decide to purchase.” Jane perused the rack and pulled a few things to show us as she spoke, “Before I forget these were downstairs to be brought up to you. I hope you don’t mind I offered to bring them up. She took two garment bags off of the rack and handed them to us individually. Our names had been embroidered on the bags, with Georgio Armani on the opposite side. There was a card on the zipper of each bag. We took them from her, she bent down under the rack to a shelf and pulled two shoe boxes handing them over.

I turned to see Liam’s reaction, he looked at me confused and shrugged his shoulder. I stood there without a clue what to do. I eventually moved and took Liam’s garment bag and shoe box and put them in the bedroom. While I was in the bedroom, I quickly put on a pair of boxer briefs under my shorts so I could quickly pull clothes on and off. I went back to Liam and Jane, to try on some clothes. We spent over two hours discussing the clothes and trying them on. We ended up purchasing a pair of 501’s each and a few casual polo’s as well as some button downs. Liam insisted we get a pair of dressier pants each.

Liam tipped Jane, and she left, we took our new clothes and hanging them in the closet provided. At the same time, Liam and I pulled the notes off of the garment bags. We both sat on the bed next to each other and opened them.

Dear Will,

We’re so very proud of you Son. It’s been a pleasure watching you grow up into the amazing man you are, capable of more love and compassion than anyone could imagine possible. You need us less and less as you get older, please remember we still need you.

Enjoy your honeymoon, we love you.

Dad, Papi, and Mom

I wiped a tear that had fallen from my eye and closed my card. Liam sat next to me staring at his card, tears falling from his eyes. I could only guess what was written in his. Reaching over time I took his free hand in mine, “You okay Baby?” Liam turned his face to me, I gently wiped away his tears, and he gave me a sad smile. “I love you, Honey. Thank you for organizing the in-room shopping spree, it was fun. I wish we had that service at home.”

Liam snort chuckled and hiccupped at the same time, my poor man. We both stood at the same time and undone the garment bags, inside was probably the nicest suit I’d ever own in my life. Neither of us is big on spending too much money on our clothes, we like our t-shirts, jeans, and shorts. Sometimes the cheaper, the better. Liam pulled a box out from the bottom of his garment bag, he opened it and gasped. I leaned over to look, inside was a silver Rolex with a black face.

“Wow, these are all extravagant,” I said to Liam, “Where are we going to where all of this?”

“Check and see if there’s one at the bottom of your bag Babe,” Liam said not taking his eyes off of the box. There was, mine was the same as Liam’s, silver band with a blue face. They were both engraved on the back – Love Dad, Papi, and Mom.

I rang home to Dad, even though I was still a little mad about his reaction to me seeing Mitchell Pearce. I put the phone on speaker so Liam and I could talk to them together, we thanked them. I couldn’t help but ask politely about the extravagance of the gifts. Dad told us, “You boys paid for your own wedding and honeymoon. We didn’t get a gift, you pour all your spare money into making your house a home. You would never spend that type of money on yourselves, even though you can afford to do so. Plus, we are your parents and wanted to, get over it,” Dad chuckled at the end.

“Sorry Dad, I wasn’t complaining I swear, you’ve never even bought anything like this for yourself.” I apologized.

“Eh, Papi and I are old, no one cares what we wear,” Dad laughed.

“Thank you, Dad, give Papi and Mom our love and thanks,” I said.

“Will do Son, and don’t let them lock you up at Alcatraz, or bring home any ghosts from there.” Dad cracked up at his own joke.

“Bye, crazy old man,” I laughed and ended the call.

Liam put the watches in the room-safe, and then we had showers and spent the day wandering around downtown. We had room service for dinner and watched movies for the rest of the night snuggling. Liam made love to me, and we fell asleep in each other's arms. Perfect day.

<>-<>-<>

“Can we catch a taxi back to the hotel? My entire body tingles, and I don’t think my legs will make it,” I said with a relaxed, well everything. Liam smiled and took my hand, flagging down a cab at the same time.

Liam had organized another perfect day, balanced nicely with bike riding through the park in the morning. After the bike ride, we walked from our hotel, six or seven blocks to the shopping district. We bought another luggage case and had it delivered to the hotel, how cool is that. Just before lunch, we caught a street car around to North Beach. We spent most of the afternoon going through the Madam Tussauds Wax museum, then the San Francisco Dungeon.

So far on this trip, Liam had organized everything, he wasn’t his usual bouncy excited self. He was too busy worrying if I was enjoying myself. We happened upon Madam Tussauds and the Dungeon, and I had a ball watching Liam. He was back to bouncing around, trying to look at everything at once. He’d pulled me from one exhibit to the next, talking a mile a minute, reading whatever facts were nearby. He had the time of his life inside The Dungeon, playing along and participating when he had the chance. I love it so much when he becomes a big kid. His whole face lights up, it’s like watching a five-year-old opening their presents on Christmas Day.

On the way back to the hotel from our afternoon activities, Liam chatted excitedly about bringing Benny and Noah when they’re older. The result of that conversation led to two phone calls, the first one to Benny, where Liam and he spoke for about half an hour. The second was funny, Liam, facetimed Kat and made her sit with Noah while he told him all about the day. I could see Kat’s amusement with the whole scenario. Kat did the best she could to keep her composure. I received a text from her later.

From: Kat
Message: Your husband is hilarious, good luck with your handful. I’m glad you guys are enjoying yourself. Love to you both. xx

Once we got back to the hotel, we had a nap, then dinner. Liam told me to shower and get into some workout clothes. When we were both ready Liam, and I took a cab to Kabuki Springs and Spa. My wonderful husband had organized for us to have a massage, scalp massage, and body polish. I wasn’t kidding when I said to Liam my entire body is tingling, I feel so relaxed and light. I’ll be finding a place back home to have this treatment again. Maybe we can gift Kat and Ollie to the same, Liam and I can babysit Noah. Win-win. Liam gets to cuddle with Noah, and our best friends get a couple of hours to themselves and enjoying a nice massage.

“Did you have a good day Beautiful,” Liam said smiling and taking my hand as we walked through the lobby.

“I’ve loved every minute since we left home, I love every minute we spend together Liam – always,” I lifted our linked hands to my mouth kissing the back of his hand. We reached the elevators, Liam pushed the up button then pulled me to him for a quick kiss.

<>-<>-<>

Liam woke me the way he always has. He ran his finger from my forehead down to my nose. My eyes fluttered open to see Liam tuck his hand under his chin, and wearing my love smile. Oh Shit! I hopped out of bed and ran to the bathroom, peed as quick as biology would allow, brushed my teeth and slid back in bed next to my husband.

I smiled at him sheepishly, “Sorry my bladder was going to burst,”

Liam laughed, “I love you, ya goof,” then rolled on his side cocking his leg over mine and sliding his arm across my stomach. His head was cocked up on his fist with his elbow for support.

“So what have you got planned for today?” I asked.

“Nothing until this afternoon, we were supposed to go to Alcatraz yesterday, but we got distracted,” he chuckled. “I left this morning open because we are going out this afternoon and will last into the night. But we can go this morning if you want.”

“Nah, let's lay in and have a lazy morning. I’m still totally relaxed from the spa yesterday,”

“Okay, I’ll order room service. We’ll have breakfast in bed.” Liam said leaning over to use the phone across my body. He finished ordering and assumed his previous position.

“Since I have you trapped, can you tell me what had you so distracted before we left?” I asked, running my thumb across his lips, and following with a quick peck.

“I was just having a down day Babe, giving up baseball is a big deal. I know I said I’m okay with it and I am. It’s like an end to something we’ve wanted together for a long time. You seemed disappointed in me when I told you,” Liam looked away from me.

“Oh Honey, disappointed for you. Not disappointed in you,” I cupped Liam’s face, moving his head back so he could see I was telling the truth. I could see the pain in his eyes. It breaks my heart to see him in pain, I wish I could take that away. “You haven’t spoken to Coach Campbell yet, you can still try it if you want it. The only person who can decide this is you, Baby.”

“You won’t be disappointed in me if I don’t want to try,” Liam asked.

“Not one bit,” I said shaking my head, “The reasons you gave me make sense, if it is going to cause you pain, and maybe damage your body then I agree with you. Especially if you're not going to reach your dream. We’ll find a way to keep you in the game though. I don’t want you losing your love for it at the same time.”

“God, I love you,” Liam sighed leaning forward and giving me a kiss.

“Love you more, now what are we doing this afternoon?” I asked excitedly.

“On topic actually, we’re going to a Giants game,” Liam chuckled.

“Yes!” I pumped my fist, “I love this honeymoon,” I leaned forward and planted a quick kiss on Liam. There was a knock on the outer door, so Liam got up and put on the robe he’d left at the end of the bed covering his hot self.

<>-<>-<>

They were giving away the bobble-head dolls when we got to the stadium, we were one of the last to get one. There was a family a few back in line with two small boys, and they missed out. To see the disappointment on their faces was heartbreaking, so Liam took ours and gave them to the little kids. The parents tried to stop Liam, but he would never let a little kid be disappointed.

We were sitting the sixth row up, halfway between third and home plate. Liam managed to get us fantastic seats. The crowd was loud and boisterous, the atmosphere was alive. At the same time it was relaxing, we slouched in our chairs watching the game. The Giants were winning 3-2, the bottom of the sixth. The people around us were fun, there wasn’t any obnoxious fans, or drunk people causing a scene. It was mostly families, encouraging their children to get excited and call out. I could see Liam’s face, he was in his element.

“I can see by the look on your face you are enjoying yourself,” I said to Liam.

He turned to me with a huge grin, “I am, are you?”

“Totally, it’s baseball,” I chuckled, that reminds me. I took out my phone and took a quick photo and sent it to Oliver. Liam actually got a text back, he checked his phone. He laughed hysterically and answered the text. Then he handed me his phone to see.

From: Ollie
Message: Asshole! Why couldn’t you have married me?

To: Ollie
Message: Because you don’t put out.

To: Ollie
Message: Plus Will has a bigger dick.

I added the last text, elbowing Liam to see while returning his phone. Liam threw his head back and laughed, “Too right!” he said sliding his phone back into his pocket. The rest of the game went by quickly. We took full advantage of our time at the game. Once it ended, we made our way back to the hotel. It felt great walking back to the hotel arm in arm.

“If we ever move away from Kentucky, I think I could live here,” I said to Liam resting my head against his as we strolled. Liam kissed the side of my head.

“Babe, I could live anywhere as long as you’re there,” Liam said.

<>-<>-<>

“Whoa!” Liam said as he walked out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his waist, his hair wet, water drips sprinkling his shoulders. Fuck he’s gorgeous, and all mine. Liam had stopped and was eyeing me up and down.

“What?” I said looking at myself while putting my new watch on my wrist. “Look alright?”

“Fu…ho…mpf…” Liam tried to talk.

Even though I was chuckling, I could feel myself blush. Liam moved toward me, he brought his hands up to my face, “So beautiful,” he whispered as his lips met mine softly, his tongue gently swept over mine. He slowly pulled back, looking into my eyes, “I love you,”

I slid my arm around his waist and leaned in for another kiss, “I love you back,” I responded breaking the kiss, and sweeping his wet strands of hair away from his eyes. “Do you still want to go out for dinner or do you want to stay here and order in?”

“No, I want to go out to dinner, it’s our last night here. We go back to reality tomorrow, I want to take my husband out,” Liam spoke as he pulled away from me and went to get dressed. I reached out for him as he moved away, “Uh-uh,” he put his hand up as a sign for me to stop, so I did. “Good boy,” he said like I was a dog, and smirked while reaching for his suit pants.

I’m not Cash, I can control myself,” I grinned, “sort of,” I mumbled.

Liam chuckled, “You,” he pointed to the other room, “Go and wait in the other room, I can see that look in your eye. We’ll never get out of here,”

“Fine,” I huffed and scuffed the bottom of my shoe like there was a rock to kick. I could hear Liam laughing as I left the room with my shoulders slumped. I stood by the couch waiting for Liam to get ready. When he entered the room, my hand went to my chest, my mouth fell open, and all I could say was, “Fu…ho…mpf…”

“You ready Babe,” Liam said smirking, I just nodded my head. He walked up to me and used his finger to close my mouth, then took hold of my hand and off we went.

<>-<>-<>

“This place is so fancy,” I said almost whispering to Liam as we were being seated, we were given our menus, and the host dismissed himself. The menus are in Italian, crap. Liam, made a face while searching his menu. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone, I brought up and Italian to English dictionary. “Okay, what meat do you want?” I asked quietly, I didn’t want any attention drawn to us. Liam closed his menu and smiled warmly.

“You know what I like, order two different meals, and we’ll share,”

“Okay, how do a pasta dish with a red sauce and a chicken with a creamy white sauce sound?” I whispered.

Liam laughed silently, “I feel out of place here,”

“Me too,” I shrugged. I kept trying to translate the menu before the server came by.

Liam reached over and gently pushed the menu to the table, “Babe, I want you to put the phone to your ear, get up, then quickly walk out of the restaurant?” he was grinning from ear to ear.

“Okay!” I said slowly, then did as he asked. I waited for Liam, I had no idea what his plan was. He came waltzing out of the restaurant with a carefree walk. “What’s going on?” I smiled at Liam.

Liam took me by the hand, and we walked away from the restaurant quickly. He looked over his shoulder and said, “I thought it would be fun to go somewhere upscale for a night, especially in these nice suits. But that place wasn’t us, and I didn’t feel comfortable at all. So I tipped the waiter, don’t worry it would have been the equivalent of if we had eaten there. Then made an excuse that you had a work emergency and had to leave,” He laughed.

“Work emergency?” I frowned in confusion.

“What? It was all I could come up with. There was no way I was saying family emergency, that’s just tempting fate.”

“Oh,” I squeezed Liam’s hand and stopped walking, “What do you want to do now?”

“We are going to flag down a cab and have him take us to the best pizza in the city. I don’t care if we have to stand outside a food truck.” Liam smiled warmly.

“Sounds good,” I sighed with relief, “Let’s go and change first if we are having greasy pizza.”

Let’s.” Liam brought out his phone, “You hail a cab Babe,” then he turned from me and started talking with someone. I concentrated on the taxi. One finally pulled over for us, and we jumped in. Liam ended the call as he was getting in the cab.

“Everything okay?” I raised an eyebrow.

“Yeah, everything is perfect,” Liam slid over next to me and gave me a quick kiss.

Once we got to the hotel, Liam took me to a different elevator bank. I looked at him quizzically, and he shrugged his shoulders. Okay, I’ll go with it. The doors opened, and we stepped in, Liam pushed the button for the rooftop. What the…

The doors eventually opened, and we stepped into a small foyer and greeted by a smiling Julio. The same gentleman that showed us to our room on our first day. Liam took my hand again and slowly led me outside. A violinist was quietly standing in the background, the second our feet were outside, the musician started to play softly and walked behind us a few feet back. A photographer was on the roof and commenced taking photos. Candles were flickering inside tall glass all around us. A warm welcoming breeze enveloped us as we walked the burgundy carpet leading to an altar, which was decorated with the same centerpiece we had at our wedding. By the time we reached the alter I already had happy romantic tears falling from my eyes. Liam stopped and we faced each other, he wiped my tears away, his eyes watery and full of love.

Will, you surprised me with our wedding, and I will be eternally grateful. To this day it is the best gift I’ve ever received. I’m giving you the romantic proposal you deserve. This is your gift, from me.” Liam got down on one knee, “Will, you make me the happiest man on earth. You love me unconditionally and with all your heart. Every day you effortlessly make me feel special, loved, wanted and needed. I want us to build a life together, have a family together, grow old together. Will you marry me?” He held out a box, then opened it, and there was a single thick platinum ring with canyon-like markings, kind of like the gaps in marble. It was unusual and the most beautiful ring I’d ever seen.

I was speechless, all I could do was nod my head. Liam took the ring and stood up, he showed me the engraving on the inside – “Williams’ Love.Well, that started the waterworks off again, Liam put the ring on my finger. He’d had it sized to fit on the middle finger. His hands slid up and cupped my face, his thumbs wiping my wet cheeks dry. He leaned in and kissed me, softly, intimately and with as much love as possible. Liam pulled back and smiled affectionately, “Are you okay my Sweet Man?”

I nodded and threw my arms around him, my head went straight to rest on his shoulder. We stayed in the embrace for a few minutes saying nothing. Liam’s hand was running up and down my back, he then led me to the side so we could see the city in all it’s lit up glory. It was beautiful, he’s beautiful. We stood together, arm in arm and watched life around the city fly by.

“I love you,” I said quietly and rest my head sideways on his shoulder.

“I love you,” Liam kissed the top of my head and rest his on mine.

Thanks for reading and again for your patience. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.

What a great way to end the chapter, I enjoyed reading about the honeymoon and then the romantic proposal by Liam to Will. I hope that they can stay together forever as they are true mates, I can't think of anyone else who comes close to the generosity they show everyone around them, and now with the foundation up and running their generosity will have no end. The guys seem to bring out the best in everyone they interact with, which I see as a good thing. I hope that you can get chapter 44 out soon so I can see what comes next for them.

The love those boys have for each other is amazing.  That rooftop proposal was so romantic.  Yet through it all they kept the same sense of playfulness with each other and all of the family.  Thanks for the chapter.......and take care of schoolwork we can wait for the story if needed.

Thanks Glennish, I hope it balances out soon. I do love these boys, and the family they've created.

Well, the Giants win proves this story is a fantasy! This year, they’re just hoping to end the season with fewer than 100 losses! Personally, being forced to watch any baseball game would be torture – it’s a good thing neither of my nephews played!  ;-)

And the Fairmont Hotel faces Union Square, the heart of San Francisco’s major shopping district. While there are others, Union Square is the one the boys would most likely enjoy wandering around in. Nike Town, Apple Store, lots of fun places. If you edit your text slightly to say they walked around the six or seven blocks in the Union Square area, it makes more sense.  ;-)

But since the trip was so carefully planned, why didn’t Will & Liam go to the Castro? Even if they’d feel overwhelmed, there are things to do and see that don’t involve bars or gift stores. I would think they wouldn’t want to visit San Francisco and not see the epicenter of the Gay Universe!  ;-)

Oh, and since SFO (San Francisco International Airport) is located outside the City/County of San Francisco, the city might seem larger than it is. It’s only the tip of the Peninsula (plus the islands in the Bay and the Farallon Islands outside the Golden Gate.) San Francisco’s importance and prestige haven’t been due to size so much as location (and self-promotion).  ;-)

Didn’t Liam take any pictures? San Francisco is one of the most photogenic cities in the world. How could he not use a camera even if it’s only the one on his phone?  ;-)

I would think they wouldn’t want to visit San Francisco and not see the epicenter of the Gay Universe!  ;-)

I’m not a sports fan at all. I enjoy watching the Olympics though. Especially (men’s) swimming/diving, gymnastics, some of the cycling and boating (canoe/kayak/racing skiffs/etc) events during the Summer Games. During the Winter Games, it’s ice skating/dancing, speed skating, skiing, and most of the other events – but not Curling (sorry Canadians!) or the ones involving shooting (not sorry at all!). But having monitored the ever-growing list of Openly LGBTQ athletes, I have an increased interest in all the events that included Team LGBTQ!

Soccer isn't a sport. Please no one throw anything at me but I would rather watch a 27 inning baseball game than 10 minutes of soccer.

They aren’t all 27 innings long?  ;-)

The only fun things about soccer are the uniforms and the Mexican announcer yelling, ‘Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooal!!!!!

Awesome tear jerker...you're going to have to loan out your laptop, if you keep having us cry onto ours!!!! :P Needless to say, this was the honeymoon we all would wish for...the visual you painted for us was so well done!! :worship: Hope you're doing well in school!! Thanks for this chapter...fabulous!! :thankyou:

Thanks Onim, I'm finding it really hard. One subset I have 3 100% come back, the other not so great 85, 80, and a ?? scared of that one with the marks keep going down. I refuse to give up, I'm adamant that I want to become a better writer so I will persevere. I guess it's not like I'm relying on it to get a job or anything. Absolutely dreading the poetry unit. lol I'll torture you all and have Ollie write poems to read at family dinner every chapter for practice. :2thumbs:

Nope just to mess with you i'll use rhyming cockney slang.

So I should just imagine he’s imitating someone on Eastenders instead of Neighbours*?

* I used to watch Eastenders back in the ‘80s, but I’ve never seen Neighbours. I did watch Prisoner (aka Prisoner: Celll Block H in the US) and movies like Sum of Us and Muriel’s Wedding – even a bunch of Gay porn movies like Jackaroos!
