Morningstar: The Malaise

   (45 reviews)

Kellar has become an island unto himself. That is, until he meets Tobyn, the first shifter who will actually talk to him.

I wanted to challenge myself, so here is another leap for me. My first shifter story. Please bear with me as I take us on a little journey, and keep in mind life and love do work in mysterious ways.

Great story! Are you planning on letting us know what happens with everyone in a sequel? Please? 😄

Thanks, Gyrefalcon! I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed it. I do have a sequel planned, but I can't commit to when I'll find the time and motivation to write it. Cheers... Gary....  Any chance you could scroll up to the top of the story page and leave a story 'like?'

Dear Author,  i have loved your stories and left a review, did you write another where Kellar and Tobyn come across Connor old BF Brian and teach him such a lesson that he is unable to continue working for the police and they free another young man from his basdardry? Did I dream this or just wishful thinking after watching the film "Three Billboards outside Ebbing? Such a loooonnnggg wait between the first Morningstar and now...  those characters are so embedded in my brain!! Please Please, please 🙏

Sorry, Darryl, but you must have dreamed that. :)  You are not alone in wanting Book Two to happen, but up till now, I am still not ready for such a commitment. I hope someday I am because the characters of Morningstar are still a part of my life. They are often on my mind, but I am having a dry spell as far as writing goes. I hope soon I will become productive again... I do have three partly written new stories that need to be finished and posted. Wish me luck, and thank you for letting me know how you feel about the wolves of Morningstar.

I did make it farther in this story slowly savoring it.  However, the great writing of the author once again foiled my plan.  I got about half way thru and started to binge.

I did like hearing that you are still considering to continue this tale.  With all the wonderful characters, two possible packs with which to connect and several threads to continue, I am sure you could create another wonderful magical, mystery tour at least as great as this story has been!

Thank you for your commitment to my work, Terry. Wonderful, magical mystery tour? Awesome. It's still in the plans to continue with the wolves of Morningstar. :)

I take the binging as a compliment.
