Not A Kiss

This is a really nice story, which is disarmingly brutal whilst hiding behind a light and fluffy facade.  I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that the right thing happens in the end - although you might not be entirely clear what that is until you get there.  Reading it all in one sitting, as I just have, there were a few slightly jarring moments between chapters, but this wasn’t a major problem and things generally explained themselves wel enough in the end.

Unfortunately it also suffers from one of my pet hates, namely, having too many gay characters.  It’s as personal taste issue, so you might not care about this, or even like it more because of it.  I’m not here to judge, well, OK, I am because I get to give it a star rating, but you know what I mean.  It’s still a good story.

I really enjoyed the story, I have a feeling I've read it a few years before when I first joined Gay authors. The characters are engaging and I didn't expect the ending. In some ways I was a little sad that the more predictable conclusion didn't happen but I was still happy about the way it finished (I'm a sucker for a happy ending)
