Story Title: Gemma The entire story was written in under a week. The story was originally written in third person POV. The story was inspired by a YouTube video. I can buy the story being written in under a week. I can also buy that it was originally written in third, as the entries are split nearly down the middle between first and third (7 in first, 8 in third. I'm counting both Just the Facts and Undeliverable as first). If there is a YouTube video inspiration here, I shudder to consider what it might be, so I'm considering that the lie. Story Title: Subtle Signs Based on a true story. Written in less than an hour. Inspired by TikTok videos featuring men singing in bathroom stalls. Initially, I was ready to call bullshit on this being written in less than an hour, because writing a 1,000 word chapter takes me an hour at least. Then I remembered that I write slower than molasses. So I'm going to go on 1 being the lie, because I HOPE there is a TikTok featuring men singing in bathroom stalls, because that sounds really fun and silly. Story Title: The Empty Library The story is inspired by a visit to Berlin as a student One of my hobbies is reading World War II historical books I love a good romance I'm buying the first two points because they make sense as truth so the third one is the lie. This story had some romance but the main focus was on history and how to find forgiveness and self acceptance from a dark past. And not everyone likes romances. My contemporary romance bookshelf has two books that my sister gave me. I haven't touched them. Story Title: Coffee With Supervision The concept originated from a television program in which the protagonist awoke beside a stranger. Having written the opening line, the narrative progressed naturally in a supernatural direction. This represents my first attempt at writing within the supernatural genre, and I found the experience of exploring a new style enjoyable. I can see point 1 happening and of course point 3 is true. Supernatural is fun and weird, who wouldn't like it. Point 2, the narrative did go supernatural, but it took a good 800 or so words to get there, so it almost seems like this started out as a contemporary story that took a very fun turn at the supernatural. Story Title: Murder at 9th & Tom I firmly believe everyone and everything has some sort of way to tell their story. I love cats. I have never written about a murder before. Point 1 is a universal truth. Fight me. The last two points are the hardest for me to figure as I find them both equally true. But as we live in a world where so many things don't make sense, I can buy that there are some people who are warped enough to not appreciate cats. So point 1 and 3 are truth, 2 is the lie. I have the feeling I am very very bad at this game, but I'm having fun, so there we go. I also don't know how my lovely fiancée guessed all the stories at once, because I'm about to lose my mind just doing a few at a time.

A very sweet tale woven with a unique mythology. I went to okra festivals when I was younger, these sound much more fun.

Story Title: Wrong Window The story came from a song title I found randomly on Spotify The story came to me while listening to someone brag about a weird night. I was getting Pork dumplings and saw a fire escape in Hong Kong and thought that's a great setting. I found a song called Wrong Window and lyrics match up or point 1. I think the last two points are a toss up but I like the second one so much that I'm choosing to believe it is the truth and the third one about Hong Kong is the lie. Maaaaybe.

It's so weird to give people a hard time just because they can't or don't want to binge everything at once. I actually like taking time when I read...to enjoy the story, to appreciate a nicely done bit of imagery or character development. I enjoy it more than racing through a story to get to the next one. But maybe I'm the weird one.

Guess being a slow reader means I can't play.
