2013 Fall Anthology "pandora's Box" Now Live!

If you're in the US, or at least anywhere that it's still Thursday, I'm betting you're going "Wait a minute, it's not Friday yet!" Well, you're right, but after much thought, I decided I really didn't want to release the anthology on Friday the 13th. Well, at least, not everywhere! So, without further ado, the anthology had been released. We had a lot of interest in the theme of Pandora's box, to be more precise, 22 authors decided to take up the challenge. Mixed in with the Anthology Veterans a

If you checked out the "Double Check" post, you already know which authors and stories we have for you, but don't worry, I'll include them here as well! Before we get to that, we have a couple of things to take care of.   In order to encourage authors to participate in the anthologies, we came up with some author incentives. All authors who partic

2016 Special Anthology: Rewind * Now Live *

As some know, I've been asked many times if we can redo past anthology themes. Since normally we don't use the same themes more than once, it was decided to do a special anthology using all of the Pre-2016 anthology themes, which we decided to call: Rewind. Authors could choose any past theme they wanted and write a 5,000 - 25,000 word story. Six authors took up the challenge and we now have a twelve story anthology for you, just in time for Christmas. Which seems fitting since there are a coupl

Secret Admirer Special Review

One year ago, the thirteen stories written for the Secret Admirer Contest posted in time for Valentine’s Day. Like the regular GA Anthologies, the contest let authors try their hand at short stories within a common theme. But in this case readers could vote for the story they liked best - all without knowing who the author was.   After the contest there was a guessing game about who wrote each story. Half the stories were so well disguised no one was able to pinpoint the author. Three stories

Attention all GA Members! Put your pen and paper down and put on those reading glasses, if you have them. It's time to do some reading, as the 2016 Summer Anthology is now live for your enjoyment! We had seven authors take up the challenge of the Wicked Games theme and there are eight new stories and poems for you to go through. Don't forget, if you like a story, leave the author a comment to show them your appreciation. Now, without further ado, here's what we have for you.

It's Time to Vote!

I'd like to extend a huge thank you to the Anthology theme selection committee for submitting some pretty awesome themes to vote on!  It was not easy narrowing down the entries.  In fact, we ended up with a top six instead of a top five!  We are trying something a little different this year to select our top theme.  Please click on the link below to rank your top three choices.  The theme that has the most votes for first will be our 2024 anthology theme!   https://gayauthors.org/surv
