Weekly Wrap Up (Feb. 14 - Feb. 20)

How was your Valentines Day?  I'll be honest, I didn't even know it really happened  The advertising and hoopla seemed to be almost non existent this year, well to me it was. I did hear one couple I know went out for dinner yet still had over a two hour wait! Oh well, for those dead set Valentiners if you missed it I'm sure it will be back next year bigger and better. I know that all over the world there is different and crippling weather all the time. I would be remiss if I do not mention

Weekly Wrap Up (Aug. 6 - Aug. 12)

I think I am going to rename this blog from Weekly Wrap Up to Steve's aging blog   My question to you this week is this. Do you know you have something to do, but before you get to it, you are distracted by multiple other things?  Case in point, I sat down over an hour ago to start on the Weekly Wrap Up, didn't happen. Logged into GA, noticed the few notifications so started weaving my way through those. Then there is a few topics that I'm following that I see people posted on. Then I like

Weekly Wrap Up (Jul. 31 - Aug, 6)

I'm back from the wilds of the Rockies  Had a great time with my nephews for the 7 days. Lots of mountain biking, took a gondola to the top of Mount Sulphur and then walked the 400 steps up to and back from the summit. Hit the Banff Hot Springs. Another day swam in an old quarry that has been filled with water and turned into a park. We even had a bit of a issue with a black bear on the last day of camping Kind of wish we had a little blue one to deal with instead. Kind of looking forward

Weekly Wrap Up (Sept. 26 - Oct. 2)

Well a big hug and thank you to Cia last week for doing the wrap up Before I forget, you have just under a month now to get your Anthologies in!!  Last week I was personally out of town, sitting lakeside in a cabin, in the mountains, hiding out on my birthday  Needless to say I never got any of your pressies for that day from all of you . I'm just blaming it on the mailman and have moved on   So is everybody getting ready for Thanksgiving?  Oh wait, the 'mericans in the room have

Weekly Wrap Up (Dec. 10 - Dec. 16)

On the 8th day of Christmas, by true love gave to meeeeee, divorce papers!!! 😮    Well, that isn't how the song goes  But if any of you do get divorce papers on Sunday, I am so sorry    To tell the truth, all I can remember from that song is the five golden rings, two turtle doves and a penguin in a pear tree  This shall lead into the question of the week! Hmmm, do I have a question of the week every week? So rather than just asking what your favourite Christmas song is, I want to know

Weekly Wrap Up (April 9 - April 15)

Did you notice we had an announcement this week that you won't probably see regular blogs about every week? It was a bit busier week than usual on a Anthology release week. Now that we have two weeks of poetry anthos out, tell me 2 things. 1, how many have you read. 2, which one would you recommend to others? Okay, you don't have to choose just 1, but was thinking that we might get a wide range of likes. Maybe even tell us what you liked about it as if you were a salesman selling poems lik

Should auld acquaintance be forgot And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot And the days of auld lang syne?   For auld lang syne, my dear For auld lang syne We'll drink a cup of kindness yet For the sake of auld lang syne   And surely you will buy your cup And surely I'll buy mine! We'll take a cup of kindness yet For the sake of auld lang syne   We two have paddled in the stream From morning sun till night The seas between us Lord and swel

It's not me, I'm in disguise! 🥸 🤡 😜 In the absence of your usual wrapper, you get me... sorry, I'm simply not nearly as entertaining. Well, unless you watch me stumble around the classroom trying to to kill myself on all the student's things strewn about. That's hilarious. 😒 Last weekend Wildone said he was older than dirt and this week I'm a clown in disguise. I certainly entertain the students enough. Fortunately, we have one more day of weekend to enjoy. Why don't we take a look at what was s

Weekly Wrap Up (Aug. 21 - Aug. 27)

Hey all, what's up? First off, thank you Cia for stepping in last week and getting the majority of the Weekly Wrap Up done for me Not sure if you noticed the latest announcement, but Myr, Cia and the programmer are all working triple overtime to try to fix the caching issues. Some significant improvements have happened over the past week with a few more patches coming this week. Hopefully they can nip this in the bud soon, as I know they are all trying so hard to get it done. You als

Weekly Wrap Up (Aug 15 - Aug 21)

Howdy all!  Steve asked me to take over this week. I'm still a little rusty at doing the weekly wrap up, but let's see what we had going on this past week. Not going to do a huge intro though, because it's been a big week here with my little man joining many others in starting school this week (yes, he's already 3 years old and starting preschool!).  And of course, after finally getting to be around other kids, my little man has caught a cold and wants snuggles with his mama. So let's take a loo

Speaking of Spring, time for some cleaning to be done  So when you clean up on the stories you are reading, tell me what story(ies) you might have on mind to tackle next? Or take a break until the Anthology comes out?  Let's get into th

It has been a crazy time out in the real world this week. Good Day everyone! Thank you to Renee for helping me out last Sunday as I had some personal issues to deal with. Much appreciated   I'm short on time again, so excuse the lack of a preamble as I will get right to the wrap up. Monday, we had the CSR Feature for the month by our newest Signature Author. Give it a go, I'm in the process of doing so myself   Wednesday was the return of our long time favourite feature here at GA! Aaron had an all new AAA: Thursday, Renee wa

Well Happy New Year to you all! On behalf of all your peeps here a GA we are wishing you all the very Best in 2023. May it be in health, wealth, or staying wise, our heartfelt wish for all of them. As we continue to move forward day by day, I hope that everyone can settle back into a life where you can choose what you want to do, how you want to do it, and when you want to do it   This program was like all the other ones for regular TV between Christmas and New Years, it was prerecorded at

It is 11:59 in my time zone 🥸 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 …….. HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE 🥳🥳🥳🥳 Usually I give everyone a heads up so they can buy me pressies, usually to no avail, but this year I’m doing the whole reverse psychology thing 😏 So enough with the fake news and onto the real news.    Can you believe it is only 7 days to get your Anthology in😲, Don't fret if you waited to last minute. Maybe you like the pressure of a tight deadline, yet it is still not too late to meet it. To t

Stay tuned to this spot.  Currently I cannot do the weekly update as I have a caching issue. I'm lucky to get this far. I will try again in the morning   Edit to add: I'm swooping in because I was online doing homework. I can see what Mr. Wildone cannot for some reason, so I thought I'd help out! Thank you all for being patient with this horrible bug; Myr is working diligently to track it down every day since that last IP update. It's not an easy one, and he's swamped! ~ Cia Monda

Weekly Wrap Up (Nov. 6 - Nov. 12)

In case you are wondering why we have two blogs up featured at once, don't continually hit your refresh button to try to make one disappear  Or am I the only one that would do that? I remember back in the olden days, when a author would generally post a new chapter on the same day of the week around the same time of day, I'd sit there constantly hitting refresh until I got the new chapter  This was back in the eFic days long before even the idea of post dating   Now where was I? Oh, so due

Good Morning, day, evening, night or everything in between. We are a bit late today for the simple fact that I do not know what day it is anymore  I mean, I don't usually work on Saturdays and Sundays, but for some reason I didn't recognize yesterday was Saturday. I do think I know the reason why  In four days I will be older than dirt  I'm so old that I think I forgot to tell everyone ahead of time where to send my birthday presents. Oh wait, I guess I did . Weekly Wrap Up (Apr. 23 - Apr. 29)

It appears that spring has finally sprung in my neck of the woods. All week we are supposed to be above 20 (68F) and by Thursday up to 27 (80.6 F)  I will need to be bringing out the SPF 2200 for that day 😊 Sure enough, I head back to the office grind on Monday, but I really can't complain about the temperatures as I was not going to let the weather dictate my vacation so I wore shorts and sandals every day 😎I do however hope that everyone that are experiencing adverse weather in their area are

Weekly Wrap Up (Nov. 7 - Nov. 13)

Is it this upcoming week or is it the week after that our American cousins have their Thanksgiving ? Well I looked at my 'merican calendar and see it is the week after, so I will stop talking about that this week or I will have nothing to talk about next week  You all should be so lucky! We'll skip over and talk about the next holiday, Christmas . Have you thought about my pressies yet? I have one picked out for everyone of you, lol. But really, with all the news about ports being jammed an

Weekly Wrap Up (Jan. 8 - Jan 14)

Wow, did that werk ever go fast   Just a few personal notes to check in with this week.   I continue to be nice to Val, but my devil on the right shoulder keeps pestering me to throw that out the window.  Second thing, I’ll probably be taking off the next two wrap ups as I do believe I’ll be on a South Pacific Island. It has been actually 14 years since I took a vacation outside of a 3 hour drive from home. Just need to ensure I have reef friendly sun screen 😉 As usual, en

Weekly Wrap Up (Jan. 21 - Jan. 27)

Well just don't get close. Got home early Tuesday morning and felt a really bad cold come on about 4 hours later. Then proceeded to sleep about 20 to 22 hours per day up until yesterday. Went through all the stages of a really bad cold. Yesterday decided to do a Covid test and either someone on the plane or in Hawaii was kind enough to share . Feeling pretty good though, now. Many thanks and appreciations go out to Cia for covering me for the last 2 weeks  It is nice to have her to take ove

Well it has happened  October has darkened our doors  This means the seasons are a changing. Have you got any frost on your pumpkin, or any other parts yet  ?  It is also sad in the sense that this week concluded week 4 of the Anthology - Anniversary. Please, if you haven't had a chance yet, make sure you thank your Authors, Poets and Editors and Beta's for making this one of the best, not only in participation, but in content on the sites 20 year history.
