2024 Writing Events

As the new year approaches, it's time to start thinking about what's on the agenda for 2024. We've already announced one event for 2024, and the first story for Carlos' tribute has been posted.  I'm super excited to announce what else we have planned for next year.  It should be a great year with lots of opportunities to participate in site events! Reader's Choice - 2023

Instead of an anthology blog this week, we're bringing you the revival of an old GA feature... the Reader's Choice Awards!  Myr opened up nominations for our first category - First Love stories - a few days ago, and there is already an impressive list of stories that have been nominated. Thank You to Our Moderation Team

Continuing on with our week of thanks, the Admin team wants to call out the amazing volunteers on our Moderation Team!! When most of us think of moderation they think it is all about discipline. We all try really hard to educate first. Then in limited cases, we do have to let some know what they are doing, how it is harming the site, and what we need to do to avoid it in the future. Return of the Weekly Writing Tips

Greetings everyone! I'm happy to announce that we will be returning next week with a weekly writing-related tip in our Writing Tip blog. We will feature the blog on Saturday mornings. For those authors that were following in the late 2018-early 2019 timeframe, we had a separate blog called "Gay Authors Articles." Thank You to Our Blog Contributor!

On the second day of Thanksgiving, my true love gave to meeeee....   Oh wait. Thank You To Our Review Team

Hi Everyone!!! The Admins here at GA are thankful for the groups that help us out throughout the year for the time and effort that they put into make GA the premiere gay stories sites on the internet!  After discussing, GA would like to extend an official public thank you to our Review Team. Month in and month out they take turns reading a story from scratch and doing up a review. This hopefully piques your interest in a story you may not have read or maybe an author you have not read.

Consolidating Blogs

As you may have read in the "Blog Updates" Announcement, we have consolidated various site blogs down to 2 different blogs. One for Writing and one for everything else.  The big tool that allows us to do that, and still find content is the "View a Category" option.  Here is an example from the Writing World Blog: When you select it, the categories pop up and you can select which ones you want to read.  Unfortunately, we have to manually update all the blogs to categorize them.  So the

Happy Thanksgiving!

Carlos H Tribute Event - Deadline Approaching!

Our first writing event of the New Year is fast approaching!  The deadline to submit tributes to Carlos is December 27th at 12:00 pm EST.  Anyone is welcome to submit a tribute.  If you are not currently an author/poet, let me know if you need help navigating the process.  We've already received some entries, and I am looking forward to a lot more.  Let's show our love for Carlos!
