By the power vested in my fingietips and the GA blog squad, it is my great pleasure to announce the revival for a site-favorite blog game...

Author Guess Who?

First things first! A monumental thank you goes to @Renee Stevens for starting this whole thing back in 2019. For several of our online community, we loved getting to know our fellow writers in a fun and quirky way. With that said, we're keeping this proverbial gravy train going, even for the weirdos, like me, that don't like gravy. I know, I feel bad for admitting it. But that's the point of this little blog game: discover new facts about our fellow authors, then guess who it could be! 

Seeing how this is the introductory article, it's time to give the low-down on how this game works. I'll break it down the only way I know how... by asking questions!

***What?***

Author Guess Who? is a game blog featured on Gay Authors with two posts a month-- one providing responses to questions from a mystery author, with the other revealing who our featured writer is. 

***Where?***

Right here on the Gay Authors News Blog! 

***When?***

The interview questions and responses will post on the 2nd Thursday of every month. The author reveal will post on the 4th Thursday, so mark your calendars!

***Why?***

Author Guess Who? is a great way to promote yourself as an author in our community, as well as let everyone know who you are as a person. Some of the questions are silly, like whether you prefer crunchy or creamy peanut butter. Some are thought-provoking, such as why you started writing. This blog game is fun, but it also builds our community. 

***Who?***

You! The authors here are this site's muse. No need to nominate or suggest who answers these questions. Put yourself out there! Just PM me if you'd like to be featured. In the reveal post, you get to choose up to three of your stories to be linked for the readers to check out your work. To be featured on the site AND have fun in the process? I wish door-to-door salesmen could be this productive and entertaining. 

If this tickled your fancy, then shoot me a PM with your expressed interest. I'll follow up shortly with a list of ten or so questions. And don't forget to check out all of the previous editions of Author Guess Who? here.

I know, I know! But I embrace my freakishness. I've only liked one gravy, and that was made from scratch with pork fat.

I think it's impossible not to like anything made from scratch with pork fat.

I went to a diner once and ordered their open-faced roast beef sandwich and fries and told the waitress I wanted the plate covered in gravy.  She gave me a funny look and laughed.  I was serious.  She brought me the plate with gravy on the sandwich, but not the fries.  Gravy up that plate, woman!  I asked for extra gravy and she ended up having to bring me like two things of it so I could douse my fries in it.  Apparently gravy fries aren't a thing everywhere.  :unsure:  :gikkle:

Chips (fries to those of you across the pond) and gravy is normal in many parts of England. A favourite in Manchester is pudding, peas, chips and gravy, it's lush.

Onion gravy, turkey gravy, chicken and stuffing gravy, and beef and red onion gravy. You don't need to be stuck with just one gravy, you have a choice, lol.

I just thought all gravy was meat based; beef, pork, chicken. I mean, these days, there is nothing off limits. I did have a mushroom gravy that blew my damn mind, now that I think of it .
