Oh please HS gay boys and HS girls experience heart break every 24 seconds. It is a proven scientific fact.....

I think I read that paper. Wasn't it published in the Journal of teenage anxieties and drama? Posted Image

Yeah, I don't really think Will's going to paraylyzed from all the emotional pain. He'll feel crummy a few days, and then move on. Mainly because the heartbreak were from relationships that weren't as deep as he thought they were.

When you're fourteen, it's generally easy to bounce back from heartback. It's not like he and John were married with kids or anything like that. And it isn't even really a break-up...it's just Will realizing that they're not lifetime partners, but best friends who get to have sex with each other. Which is pretty cool.

Yep. I bet his life is smooth sailing, with no problems or traumas at all. Posted Image

God, I sure wouldn't want to be a character in one of my stories...well..except they usually get laid all the time. Guess life is full of trade-offs. Posted Image

You're going to make him as effed up as his dad, aren't you? LOL.

Thank god JJ gets to stay a happy, well-adjusted kid, since you're apparently going to heap the drama on Will. Being a secondary character has it's advantages. Namely that you don't bear the brunt of the misery. LOL.

Especially not the protagonist of On The Mark. God, what a whiny nerd.:P

Well guess it looks like Robbie will be stuck in Paris a little longer than he wants to be after all... I can't believe we are going to have something as trite as a kidnapping or attempted kidnapping in this story... Paris is suppose to be for lovers...

I blame Brad for this completely... You reap what you sow...

It's kinda ridiculous for someone of Brad and Stef's status to not have protection.

Anywho good chapter, I'm enjoying reading from Will's POV slightly more than i am Gathan right now.

I agree. This chapter brings up so many questions. Did Stef still have Brad and Will followed? If not why? How is Robbie going to react if Brad and Will are kidnapped? What about JP and Stef? Who is plotting to kidnap Brad and or Will? God knows Brad has a long line of people who may want to do him harm. I only hope Mark does not make us wait a whole week to find out.

Well, Brad created so many enemies in the last story that it could be almost anyone... Everyone knows how Brad feels about Will and getting to Brad through Will would be an easy way for someone to really destroy Brad...

That's not a guess. Posted Image

Mark and I FINALLY agreed on what JJ looks like. It took me years to find the right character model. He'll look like Lucas Till from the XMen movie coming out:

JJ really must be a total bitch if he's that cute yet no one at school likes him. LOL.

well if this story isn't the soap opra from hell by now... :P

really??

Jerry??

these people are kind of "off the deep end wack-nut" if these morons keep a grudge for THIS long.

Carry, Dan, Brian... And now drudge up Jerry. :P

I forsee more dead bodies everywhere in Paris.

In fairness, Jerry's sense of vengence was exactly in proportion to the offense. Dan and Cary were just odd, and Brian crazy.

I agree with you.

Jerry must have really loved Neil; If someone murdered the man you love, how long would it take you to get over it?

It wouldn't take me 15 years to get even. Maybe not 15 minutes.

Yeah, but you aren't an idiot, Matthew.

So, in Millennium we had had callbacks to Be Rad. Now we're getting callbacks to Man in Motion. Does this mean that in the 9/11 story Bruno and Marcel will show up again? LOL. Mark does seem to be going with this theme of how this current generation is having to deal with the mistakes of Brad's generation.

I'm not sure how I feel about the direction Will's being taken in. On one hand, it'll cause him a lot of broody angst, which should hopefully turn him into some sexy broody skater punk boy and get him away from the boring Abercrombie and Fitch clones. On the other hand, I really kinda liked how there was a juxtaposition between Gathan, the guy with serious issues, and Will, the boy with cute 9th grade angst about boyfriends and parents. We were getting the "dark" story with Gathan, and the fluffy story with Will. Now Will's going to have to go all dark on us. Which means it might take longer for Mark to get into Gathan's issues, of which there have to be plenty.

[well if this story isn't the soap opra from hell by now..

When has the story ever NOT been a crazy gay soap? If I recall correctly, in the very first story, we had a professor who was practicing S&M on his students, JP discovering he and his mother shared the same lover who died in Vietnam, JP discovering he's a bastard, a soldier who kills himself after losing his penis, and a threesome that resulted in twins by two different fathers.

I think the only really tame story we had was A Summer Love, and even that included Marcel stripping on the dance floor as he tripped on X.

So how would we classify what happened to Will beside being statutory?

Well, I am not sure if this should be categorized as a kick in the pants or a blast from the past. I have to admit that I never saw this one coming. I had not thought about either of those people since Robbie left Paris all those years ago.

I do think that Jerry obviously truly loved Neil and I don't know that you ever get over someone's death, escpecially the way this one came about. I am only going to say what goes around comes around and KARMA is a bitch... Brad built up enough bad Karma in the last story to last him the rest of his life; but who knew it would bring someone from so far in the past back to haunt him.

Unlike many people on here, I would not be horrified or even that upset if we lost Brad; however I will be very pissed off if Will has to go through much more than what he already has on this trip. Even though Will's body reacted to this incident, he will have some serious issues to deal with later on. And on that note, who is the younger guy that is with Jerry and the Professor??? I think that he is someone connected to this more than a hired goon, but how does he fit in? He really seems to want to protect Will at least to some extent? What is the hold that Jerry and the Professor have over him? I always that that Dr Cambronne was to vaguely drawn to be very interesting myself and I can't even remember but a few mentions of Jerry in the past story; so I don't remember how either of them would pull in this younger man or what type of hold one or both of them seem to have over him.

I have to wonder if the young man will be around longer in some capacity even after Will, and I guess if we have to have Brad rescued as well... Mark, this is a great chapter and keep them coming....

I dunno, Will seems to be doing okay so far andas to the rape of Will, if that is what you can call it when you are the inserter and not the insertee, he seems to have not minded his attacker all that much. I get it is a fine line to walk and Mark is walking it carefully, but Will did have an attraction to his captor. Will thought him "handsome", had a "shockwave" go through his body, his appearance was "engaging", his kisses "intoxicating" and Will "began to trust him."

So I suspect Will will not be overly scarred, or at least not by the sexual encounter, and I think the handsome, engaging young man with the intoxicating kisses will turn out to be more good than bad.
