WatchPatRun Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 What would you have your wedding song be? Or if you've already married, what WAS your wedding song? If and hopefully when I get married, I would like this to be my wedding song I find it perfect http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDP33T0ffq0 Whenever You Call 2
Organic Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 what an interesting thought... not sure I'll ever get married, but one of my fav's for the occasion is: 'It's Okay Love' by Saybia
bel08 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 When I got married I wanted to walk down the aisle to 'Haggards Unicorns', it's an instrumental piece from the movie 'The Last Unicorn' (best movie EVER) but the cd i burnt didn't work so i walked down the aisle to 'from this moment' by Shania Twain, still a beautiful song.
Frostina Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 When I got married, I have NO idea what music played in the back ground (jk, there was no music, since it isn't proper to play muc=sic at a wedding in a temple...) However, when we did celebrate it with friemds and close members of the family.. they did play 'OUR' song. Some complained.. some laughed.. some grimaced... and I swayed and smiled, as did the closest friends!
WatchPatRun Posted March 24, 2011 Author Posted March 24, 2011 I actually meant the song that you and your significant other dance to during the reception :3 The one where it's just the two of you and everyone else watched.
Breeze Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 When I got married, we got married in a courthouse by judge, so no reception, dance or traditional first dance like your asking about Pat. But I was determined to have my first dance, so in our kitchen after the little party we had ended and everyone had gone home , J and I danced to Your Love Amazes Me by Lonestar. A sappy, country ,traditional, first dance kind of song, but it was one of THE best moments of my life. P.S. On a totally off topic way, I've looked at the thread , about "show yourself", so I've seen what y'all look like and yesterday while waiting for my bus, I saw what could have been your twin Pat. Except for the fact that his hair was a light brown, the resemblance was amazing! same hairstyle too. Just thought I'd toss that in.

LOL, actually the whole idea of this thread came from a conversation I had with him last night on MSN when we were talking about Lifehouse and the song "You and Me." LOL Although I don't think I would ever use that song in my own wedding, only because two of my OWN friends have already used it as their own song xD I want to have my own 1
paya Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 well... "our song" is still very personal to me... so IDK if I want to share it with general public... But we'd certainly play this (among other songs):
Fishwings Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 You & Me, by Lifehouse. Sorry that I beat you to it Fishwings. ARGHHHhhh I hate you haahaha. I realized the wedding version sounds pretty much exactly the same. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEuF5qiq57Q

Kioo Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I'm not even seeing anyone, but my mom is pretty sure that I'm going to elope. I never told her this, she just assumed it, but a song that always makes me think of weddings is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFIOu2sYxoc
Dark Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 "All I ask of You" from the Phantom of the Opera. I think it's beautiful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h43VhgiYQgI 1
West Coast Dude Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Hmm probably classical music, it changes quite frequently actually. I've always thought I'd get married on an island, we walk down a stone path and get married under an arch of flowers...so romantic I know... Right now this. Hopefully my hubby will like it, my friends are fighting over who will play at my weddings ha ha..
Cjay Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Edwin McCain - I could not ask for more Perfect wedding song for me 1

Dark Princess Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Lol if I get married it would be Die my bride by Murderdolls. I love that song. . .
West Coast Dude Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Aha... love this song. There's a lot of lifehouse in smallville. There's a powerful smallville video of that song on youtube.
