Remember when he said, "I don't want to get to know you that well"? What if it was foreshadowing? Headstall Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I think Tim is more likely right Irri, because Mann would never be so cruel as to take Arbor away from Priest . He would in fact be killing off a main character because it would no longer be Arbor. There has to be a vessel for Poll in Omoikane...otherwise why would Costa need to have enough Calm to get there. I would think that meant that he would be uploading Pol (that sounds like a porn movie title) in that place specifically. That's my two cents.... 2

Out of likes again...seems like I get like 5 a day....anyway, In Costa's plan, the Calm worked and he is pretty smart...so the doc should be able to keep him supplied. I wonder though if the increased length of time for Costa's journey with Pol in his head isn't doing some damage to Costa and or Pol.... Edited November 9, 2014 by Headstall
Kitt Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I can't see Mac being able to affect a transfer alone, but perhaps in conjunction with both Doc and Arbor? I think the little tech head is Pol's, and therefore Costa's, best hope. Making him aware of that fact in some moment of lucidity between doses may just help to control all those ones and zeros running around in that head.

It is not just about family..it is about them possibly being the only two para humans left in the universe. It is a concern that Poll is degrading and may not last. If he doesn't make it, Costa would have spent nine years collecting the pieces of him for nothing....It is admirable...the forgiveness of the people he almost destroyed on the Santa Claus...it makes me want to live there....Maybe Angus likes hot older men 1

And I have to strongly disagree with the comment about not feeling sympathy for Costa's mission in one of the reviews. How can you not feel for an individual who was enslaved just for being who he was? Substitute black, gay or Jew for Pariah. By any means necessary if he can redress the wrongs brought by the ruling elite. I hope you have them all join forces to somehow save whatever remains of Poll. 2

Headstall Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I read the review from Cannd and saw her questions about Poll etc. so I PM'd her and told her about Ones and Zeros so she would have the same info that we have...It is a lot better when you know the background of Costa and Poll's story.
