Anyone recall how many Tours in Afghanistan Prime had?

 

I know CE only had a 'shorter time' compared to Prime which I assume means a short tour connected to his SD/Shore Patrol duties. Probably investigating some crime that went on at a base.

 

Isaac had 2 tours before he met the pack so 3 in total.

So another question developed in my mind way back when I first read the series but forgot about it till now...

 

• Vampires aren't supposed to be able to go into a dwelling unless invited.
  • CE is insistant that no Vamp can get to Colt in his dorm room.
  • CE also relaxed his guard once they entered the Dorm Building.
  • We also have the fact that someone dropped the Letter off to Colt about 'having the wolves' but that could either be an ally or someone she has shadowed dropping off the letter.
• Yet when the Pack were tracking Vampires and Wolves on campus they had something like a predicably 'equal distribution' at certain times and this included the College Dorms.

 

• So do Vampires need to be invited into the Dorm Building and the Dorm Room?
  • I would assume the Dorm Building is like a House and Dorm Rooms are treated as personal bedrooms making it so you only need an invite into the Dorm Building to get access to everything... Why would we be able to assume Colt is safe in the Dorms when anyone living there can invite a vampire in w/o realizing it? I could easily see MaryAnn's southern charm working to get an invite in being a 'lady'.
  • But if Dorm Buildings aren't treated like Houses but Dorm Rooms are considered the House that needs to be invited... Then we have the issue of why would CE think he could drop his guard some once inside the building?

Just because you are in college doesn't mean you have to live on campus. Even as freshman if you are a 'local' you can typically live off campus at most schools.

 

We also still don't know how Alpha^3 is connected to the vampires given their Halloween bash was full of them and their Graduation party ended up with wolf abductions...

The socks I would assume is because he is kicking the football and those are the type of socks he always wears with his cleats for practice and games.

 

I knew the beard would be an issue for some of you but thats a very easy to alter feature on any guy.

I went with option 2 as well.  I think it might even be that the dorm building and dorm room are two layers of "home".  Only vampires with rooms in the dorm could get into the building (unless invited) and any vampires able to enter the building would also need to be invited into a specific room. It would explain why CE would relax as soon as he entered the building.

Okay puppilull, I think we need more gay-ification for you.

First you need to watch late 80ies/early 90ies gay porn movies: back then every actor wore white sox.

Second, you need to develop a gay uniform (sport jersey) fetish ... Rugby sox anyone? ;-)

Third, forcably shaving a guy is fun! So send him with the beard ... I have clippers, razors and foam.

I wonder also if Giovanni is already dead in the books or not? Colt was trying to reach him before the battle to get more details on the queens but wasn't able to reach him.

Well.... we may not have an official birth date... we can logic out roughly when it is...

 

• When Prime graduated High School he was 18 but Seb was "barely" 8. Assume "Barely" means less than 2 full months.
  • So assuming that graduation is in June. Seb is born in eitherly really early June, May or April
  • If graduation is late May. Seb is born in May or April.
• When Seb was born Prime was "barely" 10.
  • So if Seb is born in April, May or early June..
    • Prime should be born in March, April or May

I like your theory that Lunn is Colt's father. It would fit with our theory of his mixed heritage and Betsy could have maneuvered him to talk to Prime when he was 12 and get Prime into the marines
