Question: is this a quesiton that should be asked in a forum that queerlings can get access to? not to mention on a site that is supposed to be registered according to googles standards pg-13...

*btw uses, when using lube, currently is using a generic brand*

Wait, use the code, SETH. What the heck lol

Yes, SETH. Just enter the name in the discount code box. If I remember correctly, it's the first name of the owner of the company.

I've tried Wet's Strawberry Kiwi but it seems sticky even when it said it wouldn't be. I also tried some flavored lubes when I was down in Florida but they were store brand. I stick to Equate water based jelly lubricant at Walmart. It's cheap and does it's job. XD

Never use numbing agents—or take painkillers before play. You want to know what's going on back there. If you can't feel, there is no way that you can know if you've been stretched too far or may have been damaged until it is too late. And use lots of lubricant—more than you think you need.

Yeah, ok. Good admonition. Disregard my Anal-Eaze post. The high end lube, though, I'll stick to my guns on that one. There's a big difference in quality between brands.

I read an article about how numbing agents are quite common on porn sets, especially for straight guys doing bottoming. It also helps if the shoot is lasting for 5-6 hours straight and having to take the (often huge) D of the top can get painful after a while, according to the article...and common sense. :P

I would suspect that the 'top' would also have issues staying...erm... up :blushing:

Anyways, wouldn't feeling the pain after that long mean it's time to stop?

I've only bought lubricant designed for the purposes we're talking about once, and I was so out of my league when doing so that I just asked the clerk at the store what one she would recommend. The only thing I know for sure was that it was none of the ones specifically mentioned in the poll.

I used Baby Oil as a teen, which is something I picked up from a story at Nifty and latched onto.

No one is adding any inappropriate images or linking to sites that contain questionable content, so this topic isn't much different from the gay experiences topic or talking about first times.  As long as those strictures are followed, then this is information only, and not over the line.

Besides, how many people probably wish they knew more about how to ensure they were comfortable AND safe when it comes to things like lube before they had experience using them? It's not the traditional sex ed guides really talk about it. And while I will not advocate teens having sex before they're emotionally and physically mature, having this information available where they can learn about it isn't the same thing as using it.

ok, just checking, it's always good to check.

Hopefully you weren't using baby oil with a condom.

As a teenager growing up in Utah, sexual education was dismal. I don't know if I even knew what a condom was the first time my high school boyfriend ever did anything that would warrant the use of one, but it was also the first time for both of us, so . . .

Stay safe, kids. :)

This is exactly why comprehensive sex education should be mandatory. :/ I count myself lucky I grew up in a state where we had it starting in 5th grade.

I use Fun Factory's Toy Fluid for my toys (which are all from there because I'm a brand whore when it comes to toys). For sex, I tend to just go with whatever's available, usually water-based. Currently I think I've got one I bought in a pharmacy in Finland...
