Most of the images I'm seeing appear to be hollow inside, which makes sense. If it were a solid slab,the cost of the cream cheese alone would stop the project in its tracks.

I saw one with melted cheese inside. It was made of bread sticks you could dip in the melted cheese

Today I was making peanut brittle at dawn. It needs to be cold and dry and t I day's temperatures were similiar to what we experience here in mid-January.
