Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted February 26, 2020 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted February 26, 2020 We have a blizzard warning starting tonight and lasting through Sat. Snow totals of 1-2 feet in the most persistent areas and 50 mph winds. A lot of places are closing already for tomorrow, but of course, where I work will only close if there's an outright travel ban. 🙄 I work at a different agency on Thursdays, so I'm hoping they're sensible enough to close. If the weather is too bad, I'll call in since none of my individuals will be there in crappy weather anyway. I've already taken Friday off. 5 2

A death and another man in the ICU (in Amiens and Compiègne) both hadn't left the country. Which worry the authorities cause they're realizing the incubation period can last more than the 14 days and that healthy carriers are walking around without knowing it. 1 2 2
Popular Post clochette Posted February 27, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2020 First drive in the snow! A bit of a cold sweat when the car slipped a bit to get out of our street which is a dead end and never salt or plow but the rest was ok. 4 2

Popular Post dughlas Posted February 27, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2020 G'day y'all. The sun has returned after several days of overcast and rain. The forecast is for cool sunshine for the next 5-6 days. Gonna go take the pup for his morning walk. 6
Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted February 27, 2020 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted February 27, 2020 Snow day today It's not too bad here at the moment... a few inches of snow and the winds are just starting to pick up. The roads are bad though and south of here, which is where I work, isn't looking the greatest. Lots of accidents and power outages there. It's supposed to get worse throughout the day--more snow and 50-55 mph winds and last through Saturday. I'm really glad I don't need to go out in this. 6
