Unlike the other steps, it isn't built to hold the weight of a person. So why call it the top step if you're not supposed to step on it? And, indeed, why have a really high handrail above it? 2 6

The ceiling is 10 feet (about 3 metres) high, so I had to stand on the top platform of a 5 step stepladder to change it. I wouldn't say I was terrified, but I was extremely nervous! I was glad of the handrail above the platform... I'm sure Gary's being extra careful by having Cookie hold the ladder still. Maybe you need to get a Cookie too 7

Popular Post Headstall Posted May 21, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 21, 2020 I had a great talk with my son today when he delivered my stain to me. Poor Cookie misses him so much. I put her in her crate so she can't see him, but his voice is deep like mine is, so she can hear him. It's sad to hear her whimper for him. 3 4

They get attached just as quickly and strongly as we do to them. Looping is the same with my brother. If my brother hasn't come for a few days Looping starts to be restless, doing his sad meowing and going in to my brother's bedroom looking for him. Or when my bro stops for a few minutes and doesn't go see him, when he leaves looping is looking after him, looking everywhere and scratching at the front door Edited May 21, 2020 by clochette 6

Popular Post Timothy M. Posted May 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 22, 2020 (edited) On 5/19/2020 at 10:22 PM, Marty said: On May 1st, the Irish Government published a five stage roadmap to ease restrictions in place due to covid-19. Each phase of the roadmap (every step is located three weeks apart) consists of a menu of options which will be considered by the Government as it gradually opens up economic and social activities. In Denmark, we're opening up faster than first planned, due to the continued decrease in patients needing to go to hospital. However, we still need to practise social distancing and stay in groups of only 10 people. Larger congregations (like music festivals) and night clubs will be under lock down all summer. It remains to be seen whether any of the next steps will increase the spread of the virus, and whether the plans of test, track and isolate will work. Edited May 22, 2020 by Timothy M. 7
Popular Post Marty Posted May 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 22, 2020 Good morning, all. I just knew that buying those fittings for the garden hoses was going to be a mistake! We had fairly heavy rain overnight, and the next few days are expected to be showery and quite windy. Still, one thing I found out for certain was that the repairs the builder did before the lockdown have definitely cured the leak that was causing water to enter the new, old house from above the front door. Very windy here at the moment, but at least it's not cold. Currently around 11°C (52°F) with a high expected of 13°C (55.°F), but very little sun. Met Éireann yesterday warned the public to expect unusually windy weather until Saturday night, citing the potential for “wind related impacts” across the country. The national weather advisory for the entire country kicked in at 6pm last night and is valid until 6pm on Saturday. https://www.thejournal.ie/ireland-weather-status-yellow-wind-national-warning-5105153-May2020/ Hope you all have a great Friday! 5 2
