The authorities have arrested and charged a young man and he will go on trial later this year. Some of the clothes she was wearing have been found buried behind a local business but there has been no sign of her. People are still looking ... most are certain he killed her and hid her body somewhere ... but until the find her they'll go on hoping, praying. 1 6

Popular Post clochette Posted September 3, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 3, 2020 Before going to bed tonight dad went to close the back door and the shutter. I heard him said "Too late to go out now Minion, I've closed the door" and he went to bed while I was gathering my crochet things to go to bed too. I arrived in the entryway and there saw a light ginger and white cat scratching at back door to go out and looking terrified. Turns out Minion is somewhere outside having fun and dad had locked an unknown cat in the house clearly dad already had his eyes half closed cause the cat despite being the same color as Minion on his back, had white on his belly, paws and chin/throat 7 2
Popular Post Marty Posted September 4, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 4, 2020 Happy Friday, everyone! I really hope your day goes as well as mine is so far. On 8/12/2020 at 4:00 PM, Marty said: Only thing that he was a bit worried about was that he took my blood pressure this afternoon, and it is a bit higher that last time he took it. He suggested i wear a 24 hour blood pressure monitor, just to be on the safe side. On 9/2/2020 at 11:59 PM, Marty said: Early night for me, tonight. Have to be up early. Being fitted with a 24 hour blood pressure monitor first thing in the morning. So I dropped the blood pressure monitor back into the local health centre this morning. My GP asked me to wait outside until he had checked the results so we could discuss them. Fifteen minutes or so later he popped his head out of the door, and his exact first words to me were: "Your blood pressure is excellent. Probably better than mine." I can tell you I walked home with smile on my face and a spring in my step. 1 7

Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted September 4, 2020 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted September 4, 2020 It's a beautiful day here. Partly cloudy and in the low 70s. Absolutely perfect I got up early and went grocery shopping. Apparently the new thing to hoard is canned pumpkin, as there was none to be found. I was hoping to make a low carb pumpkin crumb cake this weekend. Guess I'll have to try a different store. I bought a bunch of fall veggies to make butternut squash soup. I still don't have a return to work date, but at least it sounds like things are moving forward. My agency is slowly reopening, with the last site starting a phased reopening on Tues. I think it will be a while yet before there's enough work to bring me back. In the meantime, I'll continue organizing stuff in the house and it's almost time to decorate for Fall 2 2 2
