Okay so I've discovered over the years that purchasing pants for Spikey can be a tricky prospect. Different pants have different cuts, even if they are the same brand, and so I have to try on several pairs before I can find the right fit. The Scottish pants my mom purchased had a size of L-XL. I have a 32 inch waist, so this was more than sufficient to fit my waist comfortably as well as being pretty much the perfect length. The problem was, the crotch of the pants had some weird cut and there were oddly tight in the seat. So, the second time I wore the pants, the seam on the crotch split as I was getting up from the couch. So I had to give them back to my mom to see if she can fix them for me, since Spikey isn't a seamstress. I learned to sew as a kid, so the next time you need your crotch sewn... 8 1

I shouldn't be such a snob about my fast Mexican food, but I grew up in California, we tend to favor Del Taco there. Here we have Mighty Taco. There's new place that opened up near one of my work sites, and they make California style tacos. They're very good and the food is fresh and made to order, so much better than either Mighty or Taco Bell. 5 1

I thought a kilt from the start the more sensible option and apparently his crotch agrees ... and now to bolster that opinion Bobber and his Bedlam Boys agree. 2 5

I totally relate to having issues with finding pants that fit right. I have short legs, so I need to buy petite pants, but that means the waist size is usually wrong. So I can either have comfortable pants and step all over the legs, or the length is right, but the waist is either too tight or falling off me. 5 2 1

At least enough to make minor repairs like fixing a torn hem, split seam or replacing a button. This is a basic skill like doing laundry, cooking, changing a tire that all guys should have. 5 2

Perhaps you could buy comfortable pants and rehem them ... I told mom tying cement blocks to your ankles and making you hang from a tree branch was a good idea but she said "Nooooo".
