Exactly. As mom's working from home that last trying she wants to do is take care of the house on the weekend so usually it's dad. He washes and irons his own clothes (he's forbid to wash our clothes cause he mixes whites and colors/dark and it's always mine or moms that got deteriorated ), vaccum, does any sewing need, cooks... Might sound cliche but I want a man that can do all this, who's autonomous and to share every aspects of life.

I wash in cold water, and I mix whites and colors.   Only if something is brand new, like jeans, do I separate.

I mix some colors with whites too but he's not afraid to put a white with a full machine of black  

For common clothes the washing machine is set to cotton at 40℃. But my dear lovely merino wool sweater I had wear maybe twice didn't love this. Or my jeans the dryer...

Oh dear, Mark doesthe same thing sometimes. He’s put two of my favourite cardigans in the tumble dryer recently. Now instead of fitting me, they fit Ali

Neither is as good as they once were. Back in PA my local grocery store bakery makes better donuts than DD. Plus there's an even better local bakery.

Whites go in hot, of course "whites" includes underwear which are any color but white. Colors/darks are rarely separated and get washed in cold. My spousal unit was known to occasionally drop something colored into the white wash. Something like a bright red sweatshirt. I'm okay with pink undies just not when I get to the lockerroom at work and discover what used to be white briefs are now blush pink. I dressed in the dark in the mornings to avoid disturbing her sleep. Blush pink and white are rather similiar in the dark.

That's one way for Ali to get new clothes ...

I made that error once with a really nice lambswool sweater. It accidently went into the laundry. Came out with the density of boiled wool sized for a pubescent boy.
