For the last couple of years I've managed to stabilize my weight but before for a lot of years I'd gain about 1kg per year. Last year I had a liver scan and the tech scared me to death implying it was full of fat and I'd soon die from my liver imploding from fat Turns out I'm ok, sure overweight but nothing alarming and definitely not until my 40 especially as it's mostly coming from a never ending circle between natural dispositions/PCOS/treatments against said pcos. I must watch out but I'll never be thin or at "least normal weight" anyway. I've mostly came to terms with it.

He also informed me I had two tendons detached, not one, which really sucks. My two remaining tendons are really working extra hard, so he believes the surgery is worth a try to give me quality of life. The bones are thickened but he thinks there is room for the tendons. Now I just need to get through the MRI. They are making me an appointment at an open bore one which is slightly larger, and he's given me a prescription for ativan.

That tech should have kept their damn mouth shut.   Techs are NOT doctors and cannot read or interpret scans.  I've seen pictures you've posted before and your weight is not bad.   Sorry to hear you're dealing with PCOS.   I hate hearing about comments like that tech made.  I know this is an unpopular opinion, but overweight does NOT automatically equal unhealthy.  People are quick to judge and assume overweight=lazy, diabetic, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and a walking heart attack waiting to happen.  Or deserve it because of 'lazy' and 'overeating'.   I would say more of my skinny friends have major health issues when compared to my overweight friends.  I could go on and on, but this is probably raising my blood pressure.  But anyway... you are awesome just the way you are, Clo
