Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted February 11, 2019 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted February 11, 2019 Good morning ☕ We're getting about an inch of snow today, so no big deal, but tomorrow we're supposed to have a yucky commute. Again, not a lot of snow, about 4-6", but it's supposed to be heaviest during the morning commute, then turn to ice, then turn to rain in the afternoon. Wed is supposed to be bad too, Thurs ok, then bad again Fri. Is it spring yet? 5 2

Spikey and ice do not mix. The sporadic ice storms we get here every couple years are MORE than enough. 8

We don't tend to get a ton of ice storms, although this season seems to be an exception to that rule. I'm crossing my fingers it changes over to rain pretty quickly, so I don't have to worry about the drive home. I'd much rather have snow. 8

We get these occasional storms where basically every surface is covered in ice, and even folks who grew up with snowy winters have a hard time with it. 35 minutes ago, Thorn Wilde said: Icy out here today too. Glad I don’t have to go into the city centre right now. 53 minutes ago, spikey582 said: I do hear that a lot.
