This could be a roadside overlook, or an extension off the back of a house built on the side of a mountain.  Fire towers look much like the do in the US, but are made from metal.

I pity poor Drewdo. Pouring sugar in a wound keeps bacteria from forming by absorbing the moisture.  He apparently can't tell the difference between the two and will probably pour salt instead. Salt will do the same, but increase the pain. 🤔
