Tell Mark the "silly boy" is reminding him that Thanksgiving is less than a week away. Pretty sure you get at least four days off from school, if not the whole week. (It's been too long for me, so I can't exactly remember the vacation schedule.) Hey, Page 2

OMG I spent about ten minutes spelling my email address and the guy got it wrong every. single. time. I'm a patient person, but OMG. I asked if there was another way he could look up my account. By name or address or something. Nope. Only if I had an order number. Well I'm not at home, so don't have any paperwork from recent orders with me. He mentioned email, so I was able to find an order number in my deleted emails. So he tells me the email address I'm providing doesn't match the email on the account. And he wouldn't tell me what email was on the account. So I tell him if there's something different than what I've been telling him then my account has been hacked because I've had the account since 2008 and have never changed my email on it. I tell him my email address one more time--the same one I've been spelling for ten minutes--and he tells me 'yes, that's the one on the account, but it's different from what you were spelling." *headdesk* *deep breath* So we finally manage to get the password reset email sent and now I can spend a crap ton of money on Amazon again. But OMG just OMG how many times can you spell the same email? And it's not that unusual an email address Hey, Sis. So.... other than that... you good? 1 3

I'm sorry for asking this, but why didn't you reset the password online? I tried, but I didn't know the answer to the security question They wanted to know the expiration date of a credit card I haven't had in years. So I was locked out of my account after too many wrong answers and was told I needed to call and have them reset the password. I deleted all my old cards so it doesn't happen again. 4 2

My drive in wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We got several inches of snow overnight. It snowed throughout the day and the drive home was yukky near work, but got better closer to home. I took my car in to get the brakes checked out and they couldn't find anything wrong with them, so that's good news. Even better news is that my mechanic didn't charge me 1 5

I know enough to know when th o smack a barn hand upside the head. In my twenties I worked as an inspector in a poultry processing plant. One department had a lot of young hispanic women working the line. They were happily chatting away one day when I shook my head and laughed. They stopped and looked shocked. One of them asked if I understood them. I said enough. Which was true. I knew enough to know they were talking about me. The Amish women that work in some of the local touristy shops are just as bad. They rattled along gossiping about customers in PA Dutch and most folks have no idea. Most think it's quaint but sometimes it's rude. 1 5
Kitt Posted November 16, 2018 Author Posted November 16, 2018 (edited) When hubby corrected an amish woman, that I was indeed married they were so shocked. Pa Dutch is rooted in German, which my hubby grew up with. Edited November 16, 2018 by Kitt 1 4

She had her first ultrasound, and they heard it... normally you can't this early... or at least, they didn't expect to hear it so soon. I have a picture of the ultrasound. Just a little dot, but hey, that's my new grandchild. 5

Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted November 17, 2018 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted November 17, 2018 This costochondritis is not fun. The pain is worse instead of better. I think I'll be calling the doctor again on Tuesday, because I can't imagine it will be better by then. I don't think I'll be doing much today. Probably editing and writing. 1 6
