Update about sexy Serbian guy: he came back to finished to bedroom window this morning (he's cute but I'm not waking up at 7am when on summer break) but I wasn't there. He asked if I was coming. So being the nice sweet girl that I am , after picking great aunt at her PT appointment, I send him a text thanking him for his good work (there might have been a wink emoji at the end)

Oh, dear. Well! It seems that Max and his friend Michael had an interesting development while I wasn't looking.

Apparently, Max popped the question to Michael and asked if Michael would be his boyfriend. Michael responded by asking for permission to kiss Max, and Max said yes.

Yes, yes, they did have an awkward kiss at that one sleepover some time ago. But that was just the result of silly adolescent hormones and too much caffeine. This is the real thing. My son's best friend has been upgraded to "Boyfriend" status. 

They're now planning their first date: a picnic in the park behind the public library.

The brownies are currently cooling in the kitchen. The eggs for the devils are also on ice, but we'll wait until tomorrow before assembling them. 

Also, Max is working on some handwritten notes to include, which was my suggestion.

One note says: "This is already my favorite date ever."

Another one: "The only thing better than brownies? You"
