Popular Post dughlas Posted May 6, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2019 G'day y'all. Another warm muggy day in SC. The pup and I went for a walk this morning. It was pleasant when we left but by the time we finished an hour later the sun was cooking both of us. We're going to need to start walking at 6:30 to avoid the hot sunshine. 5 1

Popular Post clochette Posted May 6, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2019 Good morning friends! The sun woke up to chase a light frost and has been playing hide and seek all day. As for the temps they're still not going above 15°C. The spinaches have been liking this fresh weather and the first leaves will be harvest soon. A couple more weeks for the tomatoes to go in their pots. And Gary the first strawberry is already 3/4 red 🍓 4 3

Got the opposite problem here, it was pleasant then the clouds come out and the wind started to bite. Extra clothing helped 5

People said it was a stupid number, because 00 is what you dial at the front of international numbers. Also, on the old rotary phones it was the slowest number to dial, because the turntable(?) had to rotate all the way back, before you could dial the next 0. So they changed it to 112 - just when the push button phones became common. 4 5

That may change with global warming but I always waited until then to plant out sensitive plants like tomatoes, peppers and such. Peas, radishes, onion sets, lettuce usually went in late March/early April. 3 1

Before it was the 18 but it's now specific to the firefighters, 17 for the police and there's another for the SAMU (emergency medical help servife)that I don't remember. 6 1
