That way I can understand and make it better Besides, asking questions creates conversations, and conversations mean I get more time with you, mister Drew 2 1 2

Popular Post dughlas Posted July 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 1, 2019 G'day y'all. About to head out for our morning walk. Sunrise is in about 20 minutes. It's a much more pleasant morning cool with lower humidity. I've shut off the ac and openned the windows. 6
Popular Post dughlas Posted July 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 1, 2019 (edited) We had a lovely walk but it seems I did something over the weekend to tweak my lower back. I've occasionally had issues with it in the past but walking the pup usually warms the muscles and things resolve themselves. Yesterday I woke up with problems and couldn't stand upright without effort. The morning walk helped. I did some bending, etc while working in the yard yesterday and for the most part it went okay. Again this morning standing up was difficult. I felt 20 years older. Walking helped and I did some bending and stretching along the way. That helped too but I want to some more yardwork because it's a really nice day and the forecast is for hot weather in the next couple days. I'm trying to decide if it would help if I tried using a chair to do the work ... Edited July 1, 2019 by dughlas 4 3 1

But I'm always ready for an eventful day. Morning, Marty. I'm feeling good about myself... I managed to write a small scene on a story I've been trying to finish for the last year or so. It was about 600 words, and had hundreds upon hundreds of typos... almost every word... I'm worried I'm heading back to crayons... ... I found a way to prop my arm, but I can't do it for long... patience, Gary. 3 4

I think someone suggested a few weeks ago that you could maybe try a speech-to-text type of a program. It may help, at least as far as the initial typing is concerned, but you'd probably still need to use the keyboard to correct the inevitable mistakes the program may make. Although I'm amazed nowadays at how well Google search tends to recognise my voice when I use it. Seems like the algorithm is a lot better than when I tried one of those programs years ago... But if you do need to go back to using crayons, I'm sure Drew would let you borrow some of his. He might even give you a refresher course in using them, if you've got a bit rusty. And, yes, as you say: patience, Gary. (As my grandpappy used to tell me:'Patience is a virtue, sometimes found in man.') Spoiler He would usually finish that with: "But never in a woman.") 1 7
