Popular Post Wayne Gray Posted July 19, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 19, 2020 Coffee has been consumed! While tim works his day job, I'm working on outlining the writing we've done. WOW. It's a lot! Tracking dates, occurrences, timelines, and such is an impressive task when dealing with this many characters. We're thirteen chapters in, and we can't really write more until we finish with this - not if we want to keep everything so that it fits sensibly with everything else. The story is worth the effort. Sorry if it feels like we're just talking/teasing about it, but ... we are excited. It's a tale with deeply flawed people who learn things about themselves, each other, and their places in the world. Really, that's the kind of story I wanna read. Okay ... break over. Gotta get back to it. 1 7

Besides, sharing your journey as this story unfolds is very interesting to those of us waiting at the gate for the ‘race’ to start. , 1 5

Popular Post Wayne Gray Posted July 21, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 21, 2020 Since I started, ten of thirteen chapters are outlined. Three more to go. Tomorrow is a day filled with meetings, but I may be able to sneak in a lunch at some point. If I can, I'll get another one done. Almost there. I'll have it done, hopefully by Thursday, so tim will be able to start on chapter fourteen in time for his weekend! 😄 1 6

Popular Post Wayne Gray Posted August 1, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2020 In the process of writing this story, the need for a logo came up. Using the photo editor, BeFunky, I put one together. I really like it. 🙂 7 1

Once COVID-19 began, I just stopped. I stopped everything creative until a few months ago. Over time, things got better, and I was able to write again. This one ... it's different. It's something entirely different, and complex, and it will take a lot of effort to do right. But I've not given this one up. And I won't. 1 3

That happened to lots of creative people for various reasons, me included. The world was suddenly just changed, like someone pulled the rug out. i needed time to adjust. So did you but for you there was more, suddenly your job changed and you were needed more than ever. The story is huge and complex and i don't know if we can go back. i don't want to rewrite it all. But maybe i'm looking at it wrong. It's not finished not even close. It also hasn't been edited ...it defo needs that in a bad way. 4

We’re a little stuck, because it’s not edited, and that stops me from working on it. I need to let go of perfection and just write. That’s hard for me. 1 3

We're a bit stuck as well because well, we just haven't been back together to look at it. I think if we reread it now, we'll be pretty critical. 4
