As we celebrate, we'll enjoy steaming cups, or Iced Coffee.

I like coffee, but an very allergic to it.  Doesn't matter if decaff or regular, everything in my stomach comes up, so I cannot drink it, and have not been able do so since 1974.

I drink 3 cups of coffee a day, 2 decaf and 1 regular coffee. I prefer it with a flavored creamer to cover up the taste.

Today is National AI in Work Day.

It's also Orange Shirt Day. 

We find it's also National Love People Day and National Mud Pack Day. 

Bing says it's International Podcast Day. 

Finally, at the end of the day, we'll enjoy some Hot Mulled Cider.

We have a winner for Fat Bear Week. This bear came in Second the past 2 years. The bear, Chunk. Not bad for a bear with a broken jaw. 

According to Bing, Yosemite National Park turns 135 years old.

Today is National "Jiffy" Mix Day. The only mix I remember is Corn Bread.

Something not done much anymore is Walk To School Day. 

If you consider it a snack, Pumpkin Seeds will be available. 

It's also National Coffee With A Cop Day. 

Since it's October, it's also National Fire Pup Day.

@TalonRider -- according to the host of a radio program this morning as I was driving home from breakfast with a friend, it is National Hair Day.  (He said that is sponsored by a Hair Care company, but I don't remember which one.  Then he played some songs about hair and haircuts.)

The local Fox station in Philly sometimes mentions a day celebrated using their character Bus Stop Buddy. Sometimes what they celebrate doesn't match what I find on National Day Calendar.

We'll start todays celebration with National Smarties Day which celebrates the sweet legacy of an iconic candy and the smarty pants people who never stop learning.

For those that do their week during the night, it's National Custodial Day. 

It's Name Your Car Day. 

Let's hear if for those spray heads the Mist the Produce. 

We'll have Fried Scallop's for Lunch today.

I'll add from yesterday. NDC has link a posted for each day that contains a list of additional, birthdays and other events I normally don't look at due to the length of the lists.

Bing says it's World Smile Day. This could go along with National Body Language Day. 

We see National Manufacturing Day on the First Friday of October.

We also have another Techie Day.

This is a good one for today, National Boyfriend Day.
