Actually, I don't think Bryan overplayed his feelings, if anything he got the sperm donor to reveal much about himself in the conversation before the sperm donor lost his cool... The boys had the right to know about his background, where he worked, the evasive, non-answer about where in the heck he had been for the previous 9 years...The lack of contact, and most importantly, why now??? As I have mentioned before, the sperm donor would not be going through all of this effort simply to regain the boys...He's privy to information that will benefit him financially...Now...how to figure out just what it is... I suspect the sperm donor's legal team is going to play the 'gay' card, how critical it is to get the boys out of that living arrangement... More chapters quicker as noted...please...and thanks!!

Looks like Day's closet door is transparent... Banging the caterers help may get you sloppy seconds... And...just where did you go Mrs. Robinson...Vonnie... Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned Cee Cee... Will Toby's bits and pieces survive the weekend???

An odd thought, was it possible Micco's father was 'touched in the head' by Long Ears as a younger person??? Not sure how else to explain the depths of depravity he sunk to???

My goodness, this chapter cleared up many of the loose ends...good on Burke...quite frankly he deserves a medal for his actions...while I am not a vindictive person by nature, I hope each and every one who took part of the atrocity in Oklahoma suffered...greatly!!!! The following was stunning to say the least... “Maybe this will help,” Burke says, voice gentler now. “When you came to live with your aunt and uncle, I felt like the Great Spirit had given me a second chance. Your presence here gave me purpose, do you understand? A reason to stop drinking. To get a job. To return to Billie and the rituals that define us. To become a role model and a de facto parent. You did save someone, Micco. You saved me.” I, like others suspect Long Ears has finished with Martina, both never to be seen again. This leaves me wondering, begging the question as to what happens to the inheritance, will it go to the shelter without a protracted fight?? Micco and Chase will make a formidable team in whatever endeavor they find themselves in!!!

Then there are those nifty devices that take 2 of the C cell batteries...still it takes a certain amount of chutzpah, I was gonna say ball's, to even contemplate doing so... You forget...Ben Franklin had come up with/invented a sort of battery...life after the dinosaur extinction wasn't a bed of roses but not all that bad...

Good on Keith and I have come to have buckets of respect for Jaz... She rolled her eyes, "I had hassle from a couple of prize specimens last week, amazing how guys think they’re god’s gift to women. You’re not hitched, are you?" She peered at him. "No. I. I.", for Christ’s sake Keith just do it, "I prefer guys." She gave a huge, warm grin, "Good on you! Look, I have to go, but next time, I expect to hear all about it", and as she left, she stubbed the cigarette out and then blew him a kiss. While I can't argue with your thoughts, what truly crawls up my backside, are those who profess it to be the be-all and end-all against what all else is measured, yet forget to live by the precepts they are enjoined to follow. How quickly they forget just where "Woke" originates....

That may be true, but in this case his comment was spot on in my humble opinion...

Welcome back, you've been missed... The following speaks volumes... “The hell do you want from me? You think I’m gonna change my mind if you’re enough of an asshole?” The man snorted. “You’re not gonna change, kid,” he replied. “I can see it in you. There’s no free will left in there. Probably eaten by that friend of yours. This whole thing’s a waste of time and life because there isn’t enough left of you to be worth saving.” Charlie opened his mouth to snap back, but couldn’t find the words. He wasn’t even sure of why it stung. Just that it tasted bitter in his throat.

The question remains, is Granger prescient or borrowing trouble?? Pray Calvert doesn't have any infectious setbacks and Winkler...well without him, where would Granger be???

Well now, just where were these folks, or someone like them, when I was their age...seems to be an insular incestuous world...what's in the water????

The innosense of youth But Colin came out of his trance, "With Owain", and the inflection in his voice added an unspoken 'of course'. "So, are you his boyfriend?" "Maria!" But Colin simply smiled, "Yes, I am." "Oh good." "You have a nice house, Uncle Owain." "Can we come again?" I laughed and agreed. So much expressed below... "I phoned him the other day." Connie said sharply, "He didn't tell me." Annalisa gave a dry laugh, "Perhaps because it didn't go so well. Colin?" "I tried to tell him what my life was like; I wouldn't let him just tell me what I was supposed to do." He turned to his Mother, "I'm 32 Mum, I've got my own business, my own hobbies and now I've got a boyfriend, and we do stuff together. I want to be seeing you and everyone as well. But not if I get lectured and told what to do. If Miles doesn't like that I'm gay, fine; I don't like that he's a bully. But he's my brother and we should be able to jog along." "He came over last weekend, tried to help me in the garden", Connie sniffed, "he's a dead loss." This just wasn't a state visit, Ambassador Annalisa negotiated a truce and a thawing of relations...

The thought that they could live for centuries is both intriguing and alarming at the same time. The idea that they could live for so long speaks to the wonder of medical science combined with stasis. At the same time, the current generation of leadership would block younger generations from assuming their place in this new world, retarding their advancement. I fear the infallibility the current could poise...There would have to be some sort of mechanism/protocol where the current generation and the succeeding generations become "wise elders" with limits as towards longevity.

Does Puck remain disfigured, or will he somehow be restored? -
An interesting and informative chapter, it appears it repeats itself halfway thru!

Goodbye Denial, Hello Acceptance
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Goodbye Denial, Hello Acceptance
I have to echo @Al Norris's sentiments, coming of age in the late 60's early 70's the life I wanted/needed was a long ways off...This was tender, sweet, and well written and I am glad they have found each other...one hopes the storms have passed and there is some smooth sailing ahead!! There is a need for an edit, hoping it wasn't a Freudian slip... Jackson gripped my hips and moved faster. Each thrust sent shivers through me. I knew he was getting close when his grip tightened and sweat beaded his brow. He shouted my name as his orgasm barreled through him. I felt his cock throb as he emptied himself into the condom. It was nothing like it was with Jackson. It's impossible to explain, but it felt so right. -
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, in this case a song is worth so many more. An intense snippet, a window actually, giving us a glimpse into the life of a thirteen-year-old boy who is in crisis. As noted in the previous review, not much more can be said, without spoiling this tale. Take a moment, it is worth the time to read.

Short, sweet (not really), and intense. Powerfully descripted. This begs for more and understand if there isn't. Well done!!!

Always had a crush on young JJT...the nosy next-door neighbor may be a city clerk but as one her powers are limited; however, it is he contacts within the city administration could prove to be problematic. it is a shame they can't figure out a way to raise the height of the wall or if needed, plant a few larger spruce trees... functions of a city clerk - Search (bing.com)
