Mark. Thanks for being back on this story. One of my favourite stories. I like the historical setting and the period view you give us of maritime world at that time. I love the Granger character in your stories. He is a basicly good guy, a guy that gives a lot not only love but stimulates people to improve themselves. But he needs love as well. So I think it is a good thing Granger is getting back connected to his basic needs. His wife and Calvert. There is still that bond between Granger and Caroline. Trust, economicaly. And trust about how for Granger to deal with situations on land. You wrote beautifull about how such a situation can go on and not be solved completely. And I loved how you wrote about his friends looking out for him. Not only posting Calvert on his ship but also Daventry talking with Granger about Granger's relationship with Caroline. To solve that barrier.

Thanks for all those X-mas greetings. And so many anthologie stories. Just read the stories from Valkyrie. Loved them. -
Hi thanks for the story. Stumbled into it... but no not the way Clint fell out of the closet. LOL. But I was going to read something else... but just clicked probably ... wrong. Now afterwards it was... unknowingly... I clicked right for I loved the story. I like youthfull banter. I like people/characters who enjoy life, in a socialising way. I like to read stories that GIVE energy... And this was for me one of them. It was a joy to read. Realsise I read it after it was finished and will start reading the sequell soon. Thanks for writing/posting it here.

Writing Tip New Author Advice #1
Northern Dutch Guy commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Writing World
I think Graeme and Aditus for me gave a good advice. Well for me it feels that way. I started some stories years ago ... But after a few chapters... got lost or got out of the flow... and had no one to stimulate me going on. The advice they gave... I will give it a try that way soon. But I think I need a native English editor...- 11 comments

CSR Book Club November C S R Discussion Day: Between The Lines By Comicality
Northern Dutch Guy commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I loved the interview. Found it very personal ... open and honest. And loved to catch that private view of the way you write your stories. For me 'Between the lines' was also connecting to me as kind a of personal story, because I had friends in a situation like that. A one way love relationship. And this story was just like theirs. But after this story I think I understand much more about their situation. Thanks for the story. Loved it. Have fun writing new (parts of your) stories. Love, Hugs.. A most times silent admirer of your stories ND G -
Hi Mark Glad you are back here and back writing stories. And I think you did a great job picking up where you left this story. And with another cliff hanger. Who is behind this, everything points to Lizzy. But we know little about Dalby if he had enemies. And Marc is...much too often around as well with people around Brad and Will. Is he hate full ? Wade knows his mom but... does not see it. So if its Lizzy... Is it just her revenge to the people that freed Wade from his fathers and her grip and that Wade freed Nana from her grip and made her insignificant ? So yes you caught my attention again fully with this chapter. Loved it. And yes I'm a bit selfish... I hope you post new chapters soon. ND G

An Update On My Life....
Northern Dutch Guy replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
LOL... had me laughing about that . I think only pussycats can do that... LOL.Hey just my type of humor. For you are a tiger. Hey OMG a butt plug as big as a head being pulled out of your ass ... Mark OMG you had a really big problem. LOL. Hey just my interpretations of your words... LOL. Mark really good to hear you are on your way back. And realize you can do it. Maybe with some help. BUT YOU CAN DO IT. And if e-friends can help... Love , hugs kisses  AndyG -
Loved It. Perry's clumsiness and curiosity reminded me of an old TV series, 'Catweazle' a '1970-ies' British television youth series. Only Perry is this 'hairless blue' version where Catweazle was/is a hairy old Celtic Druide. Google and you can see some of the series. The series were a mayor hit at that time, also in my country. Will certainly read more if you post new chapters. I certainly will want to find out how you will find ways to make them 'compatible', LOL.

Chapter 1 Friendship
Northern Dutch Guy commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 1 Friendship
Well done story. Lost love can hurt really bad and as a reader I could feel Duncan's pain. And manipulative 'bad' friends or family members can be easily as bad for your relationship and your health. There were moments I almost wanted to scream at Duncan. LOL. Come on stupid Duncan. Do not let misery and self pity control your life. Leon is your partner. Whatever happens you talk with him ! Trust your partner first. And if you have a fight or after a fight/bad situation... Talk. Communicate. If you can't do that... it's not working. Fight for your relationship. Don't trow your relationship away too soon. Talk. Communicate. Duncan learned the hard way what happens if you do not do that. Loved reading it. -
Intriguing story. Loved it. Yer would love to read more.

The Best Laid Plans
Northern Dutch Guy commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in The Best Laid Plans
When I was reading the story, I realized there were probably earlier stories of these two characters. Reading the comments I now know for sure and will try to read them soon as well. For me the ze and hir stuff worked. The change to he and his was a bit abrupt though. But I guess Angel reading the yaoi and gay stories was already the start of that change. Maybe Imp being an Imp, Imp's provocations, his comments, sexuality and lewd behavior did the rest. Look forward to a follow up on this. thanks, loved the story. -
Since CSR... 'Between the lines' I have started reading some other stories from you like this one. This short story... Loved it. This is a story I like now being much older but would have loved to read when... being young like the characters in this story. No one was gay in my area at that time ... In Amsterdam yes... --- Hey... why is it mentioned as 'still in progress' ? Have fun writing.

Well done chapter. Very well written. And you almost can hear Eli's brain working that something is missing in his relationship with Chris. And... that he feels that wanted connection with Devon but... his conscience cann't go there yet.

Hi Comi loved the chapter. Hmmm , though the partnership/love/sex seems to be very one way... But I guess that is what the rest of the story will be about.

Interview Ask An Author #44
Northern Dutch Guy commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I think I understand why so many people on those different sites you posted this story or love the more graphic sexual chapters. For you write them beautiful and exciting. Not just plain sex, but a bit BDSM but with lots of romance and love and fun discovering new areas in sex. The piercings, the graphic use of toys, the banter between their friends about their noisy sex... And you write it light with humor and only a little drama. Not the big coming out drama's. But light for lots of friends know already or are not that freaking out. No employer or school management should drive you/teachers into overworking yourself/themselves. It is only short time solution and long term will hurt even more. And it shows disrespect towards people. I'm glad somehow you found peace with yourself in writing this stuff. Or am I wrong about that? Have fun writing. And I will start soon and look forward reading soon the sequel 'wild Card'. Thanks for this very open and personal interview. Have fun writing Hugs AndyG -
