  1. It's my day off, so... Just remembered I have a kilt somewhere. *digs in closet* Can even go grocery shopping now. Ooops, wolves don't wear pants. Right?
  2. It depends on my mood. If I'm stressed and annoyed with everything around me I want a no fussing around end, problem solved, basta. Otherwise I like an end where I can play with possibilities, of course for that there have to be possibilities.
  3. Well here it's 12.11.13 Isn't that interesting? Tomorrow is 13.11.13 And the day after... And the best of all this is my 222th post.
  4. I might be biased because I love photography as artform and even try my hands on it every now and then. It can take me weeks to find the right motive, the one that fits my idea. I take many pictures, different angles, light etc. When I work on the computer, I use brushes, pencils, shading until the picture is as close as it can get to the idea in my mind. So I work with my hands, feet, mind. I use technology, yes. I won't start to talk about what is technology today and in the past. So tell me is it art?

    Prompt 276

Nice Ron, the story totally ruined the sad and desperate mood I had myself worked into so I could write my own story. *goes and hears some sad music*
  6. Happy Birthday KC!

    Chapter 1

Thank you for your comment Suvitar! Hope for happiness is what let us move on, that's why it was in the box. Imagine we hadn't hope.
  8. 'k but bring one with strawberries too.
  9. So if you make money of it it isn't art anymore? Or to provoke some more, it can't be art if you do it primarily to make money? Interesting.
  10. This is kinda funny what you two are doing here. When I was a kid and I didn't speak English but faked it by speaking German with an accent ( come on I was four I think, I did the same with French and Italian) my parents said I sounded like I tried to imitate a snotty British brat, whatever that means. So guess how I thought English sounded. I cultivated my Gerrrman accent everrr since.
  11. Aww well, now I sit here cup of coffee in my hand and wait for TLBO to call my cell phone to tell me she'll be over in five and she'll bring my favorite Danish. *sigh*
  12. Well it's not that far from here and he's kinda cute... Around here Joseph Beuys is still an icon of performance art. He said: To provoke means to evoke something. By making a sculpture with fat or a piece of clay I evoke something. I ignite a thought within me – a totally original, totally new thought that has never yet existed in history, even if I deal with a historical fact or with Leonardo or Rembrandt. I myself determine history – it is not history that determines me.. ..every man is a potential provocateur. I'd like to know what he would have thought of Clayton's performance. I'm with Cia.

Yuck! I always try to ignore my arachnophobia. *practices to vacuum lefthanded*
  15. I don't know half of the food that's mentioned here, . But there's always Google.
  16. You're absolutely right Kitt. this is demeaning and rude, but it's not a problem of the language used to insult you, but of the people doing the insult. My father is Italian, and although I understand Italian I don't speak it very well. My cousins always speak Italian with a local accent only they can understand when they talk about me, I can only guess it's nothing nice they have to say. Lucky for me, my father always throws one of his famous Italian temper tantrums, when they are like this. I like Italian, even though my family sometimes sounds as if they would have a huge fight when they are only talking.
  17. A great read. I've been a very unsociable person, while I read this story. Lots of uhu's, hmm, yeah later and such.
  18. not waiting
  19. Maybe because he agreed doing the video.
  20. Thank you, Thorn! The thing is, I was never good at real horror. I tried, but the story kept slipping into the horror-humor mix it became. Regarding the sexual overtones, I thought about it, but Sky was too afraid and Dermot too hungry, lol. You are free to let them explore that part of their new relationship a master and fledgling in your own mind. Or someday I'll write a second chapter. *wonders if it would be a good Holiday story*
  21. Thank you! Sounds delicious.
  22. What's hushpuppies??? (It's a brand name for shoes around here, lol)
  23. I'll never get to write a long story with winter anthology and now Holiday story themes coming up. Yes, I'm in too.
