Ha, ha, after reading this comment I've found myself eyeing my own fire extinguisher as well as the ones at work and grinning at the thought of you thinking of my story during fire drills. I have absolutely no idea where the inspiration came from, but suddenly the image of a wet spot from white stuff clicked. Thanks for reading and commenting, Val.

I'm glad you liked it, Drewbear. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Tak min ven. I'm glad you found it, but never fear, I'll always send you an alert, when I post a story. I'm glad seeing my name made you give the game stories a try, I hope you enjoyed some of the others too. You make me blush with your praise, but I'm so pleased the story spoke to you, and the spunk line made you laugh. I have to admit I had some trepidation about tacking these subjects and doing them justice, so i was relieved the story was so well received by everyone. I agree about the hope for both of them, no matter how it works out in the end.

I know, right? That was my favorite part too, and I'm delighted you noticed. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I'm proud to have impressed you, since I admire you as a writer. Yeah, Bart came at the right time and he has a purpose now. Dean needs someone he can talk to, and hopefully it will distract him from the abuse of his body. I'm pleased you found the mix of fun and serious stuff OK, it prevented me from getting too sad while writing the story. I won't promise anything, but maybe I'll be inspired to return to Dean one day. Thanks for reading and commenting.

LOL, I like how everyone assumes this is just the beginning of a story, but it's also a little dismaying. @droughtquake will surely get out the pitchfork if I don't get on with my two CC stories. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Thank you, Batman. It was fun to have you edit my story, rather than the other way round. I'm delighted you thought the mix of humor and sadness worked. I found myself feeling very sorry for both of them as I explored their back stories. Even in Denmark, LGBT people are much more likely to contemplate suicide and to stay in the closet at work, to avoid offensive nosy questions and being labelled. Thanks for leaving such an awesome comment. I owe you.

I should have known you'd zero in on his brothers. This was meant to be a stand-alone piece, but maybe I'll return in a few years' time. Thanks for reading and commenting.

It's cute how Tony's wishful thinking runs far ahead, while Geoff is barely believing in his luck. I'm sure he'll be all flustered over Tony's wooing.

Well, let's hope the aphrodisiac isn't absorbed via the skin. I loved the way Pip spoke like a mix of films.

Featured Story: Alex and Zach

And some chapter comments too. Yeah, I also read it before I had started making comments or leaving likes, so I should revisit too.- 10 comments

I am a fan of shifter stories, and I think I have read most of the ones posted on GA. Some of them follow the same general pattern, others forge new paths, and both kinds can be awesome and well-written. But I have to admit few of them have captivated and intrigued me the way Morningstar did. There was romance, suspense, action, mystery, and so many unexpected twists and turns to keep us entertained from the very first to the very last word. It is impossible to write anything specific about the story without spoilers, so all I'll say is that Kellar will always be my hero for his integrity, determination and compassion. I know I shall return to this story again and again and enjoy the journey anew. I recommend this beautiful and well-crafted tale to all readers, whether you are partial to shape-shifting stories or not.

We all know astrology is bogus, not science, and only fools believe in horoscopes, right? I have friends who when they see astrology books placed in the non-fiction part of the bookstore, next to astronomy. But what if there was a way to turn it into science, into something which could actually help people? This story is about how a skeptic young man meets a devout practitioner, and how the clash of personalities sets off an unexpected chain of events. We only witness the initial consequences, but hope for a happy ending for both of them. The story raised many 'what ifs' in my mind, and I loved the clever use of the classic Zodiac signs and their attributed character traits. Will you recognize yourself?

but otherwise astrology is fun more than fact.

The authors are supposed to share their stories with a link in the comment section to the blog, but so far few have done so. But you can always go to the prompt forum and check out the older topics. Like this: (there were no takers for prompts 598 and 599.)

But D didn't actually drink any wine before his thoughts were going to Nöel being a traitor. Keith was just offering to get him something to eat and drink and hadn't returned yet. I agree with @Puppilull that the King's mind is becoming affected by the separation from his mate. I find it significant that before he could mate with Nöel, his physical health deteriorated to the point he was close to dying. Now they have mated, the physical separation affects D's mental health. He gets mood swings. paranoia, depression etc. I noticed how Nöel leaving his summer house made him dislike it, and the same applies to the penthouse. Hmm, what about the hunter cabin in the woods where they first met? Will that become a no-no place too? I bet the Sundial estate will make him think about what Nöel (and in particular the Luis part) would say when he saw those gardens after so many years. Hmm, did D's paranoid thoughts about Nöel start before or after they got 'divorced' ? Oh and the image of Tristan hacking his way out of the maze had me for ages. Priceless, absolutely priceless.

Great chapter, CG. I love the Beckel family and the way they all understand Mickey. It's no wonder he feels safe at the farm and that builds his confidence in the outer world too. It's great to see the friends interacting at lunch, and it's also a good way to stay unnoticed. They are just a group of friends hanging out rather than obvious couples. Although, if anyone asked them how they got to be friend, they might have trouble replying. Like Gary I loved seeing Mickey 'passing it forward' - extend a hand to help someone escape the prison of fear and loneliness. Seeing it via Jay's eyes was perfect.

I agree, we want to hear Kevin's story from the inside, if you can swing it, It will be interesting to learn his views and thoughts about Billy.

Golden Voice - Prompt 589
Timothy M. commented on comicfan's story chapter in Golden Voice - Prompt 589
I suspect Frank will need some careful coaching and propping up. He seems too nervous to handle being on a stage. But fingers crossed that he'll blossom in his new role. -
I think the back-stabbing bitch just got back-stabbed ! I hope she doesn't revenge herself on the camera man.

So we get introduced to the two important ladies in Geoff's life: Helen and his mom. I was glad to see Helen was sensitive enough to realize when she had crossed the line with her teasing. We also got to see the first consequence of him not being honest with his mom - although even if he had been out to her, I doubt he'd want to have his first date in a place where he risked running into her. I was pleased to see Tony realize that food was a great way to catch Geoff's attention and also something he could bring into the relationship.

Well, that was certainly a successful birthday party so far. My guess is Jason, who's the only one also playing hockey. And Alex has already started to become friends with him. But I guess the best birthday present was Liam saying I love you and telling Alek he did it for him.

The Peace Offering - Prompt 596

I guess Bashir regrets not being the one to open the box, but maybe he's also a little heart-broken that Donay is forever out of his reach? Perhaps he can request being sent to the Beaut world as an envoy rather than Maze. Great take on the prompt. -
Chapter 76 Little Rich Boy
Timothy M. commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 76 Little Rich Boy
As much as i hate Alex he does have a point about Robbie and Jake. But I'm a bit conflicted too. On one hand it was a rather stupid and dangerous thing to do, but on the other hand I loved Robbie getting those digs in at Jake. And if the police ever asks him again if he can remember who pushed him, he can tell them Jake knows - and there were two witnesses when he asked Robbie if he wanted to know who it was. Also, while I'm not too happy Robbie is at Alex's house, I love the fact he's able to hide from Sue and Don, who deserves to be worried and embarrassed to the max. It was interesting that Daniel had contacted Nathan to tell him Robbie has run away. Shows he cares - for his friend at least. And if Nathan knew about Don, why didn't he warn Robbie?
