I don't think it's that Kraig doesn't want him... but that he's too exhausted and weak to respond right now. We'll see what happens as he gains his strength.
Wow! You packed a lot into that prompt. John did what had to be done, and technically it was self-defense. I'm glad that Tommy is free of Jack and hope that he only experiences the good things life has to offer from now on. I could see this as a longer work, although getting into the details of such a sick mind would be tough to read (and write). Nice job.
Thanks for such a great review, AC This is the turning point of the story. The end of Part One, so to speak. I thought about weaving Josh's reaction in at the end, but it didn't flow right, since the chapter is from Liam's perspective and Josh didn't even register to him since he was so focused on Galen and beating the crap out of Roger. We'll hear from Josh next chapter. Thanks so much for all your support with this story. It means a lot to me.
I'm working on Chapter 19 and will hopefully have a good chunk of it done this weekend. Sorry for the long wait in between chapters. We've reached a big turning point in the story, so now we'll see what happens as everyone processes what happened. Thanks for the review and the support!
I'm not sure how long it actually takes to get phone records. TV makes everything look easy...lol We'll see how well Liam is handling the stress next chapter. You ask some good questions about the future of Galen and Josh's relationship. We'll see how they navigate the mine field that's just opened as the story progresses. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
Thanks for the review and reading the story Not sure if the salads are a cultural thing or not. I guess I never really thought about it. lol We always had salads with dinner when I was a kid and always have them at family functions still, so to me it seems like a natural part of dinner. I agree with you on point #2. There are several times when I wanted to smack Josh upside the head, but sometimes people are too stubborn for their own good. We make mistakes and it's easy to see things in hindsight, but not always easy to change, even when we're in a bad situation. Thanks for the thoughtful review. I'm glad you like the story so far.
I totally sympathize with having a horrible college roommate. I hope things look up for Dorian soon. Sydney seems nice. It's good he has already made a friend.
Cole Matthews suggested in the "Thoughts on Orlando" blog post that maybe GA could do something special to honor the victims of the Pulse shooting. Northie suggested starting a thread to discuss it, so I was wondering what others' thoughts were.
My idea was to compile 102 poems/short prose - one for each victim. What other ideas do people have?
Thanks, Puppilull. I tried to keep it as realistic as possible. Glad to know that it worked. Detail of what happened will be revealed over the next few chapters. You make some good points. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the review, Terry. I guess I didn't fool anyone with Roger being the abductor. lol I appreciate your support. I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
I'm glad you found the story. Thanks for reading it in one go Galen was abducted the night before Josh and Roger left for the camp, so he would have already been in the bunker prior to Josh's arrival. More details will be revealed over the next few chapters. Thanks for reading and leaving a review. I appreciate it.
Sorry about the posting speed. In the future I plan on having a story completed before posting so readers don't have to wait so long in between chapters. Thanks for the review. I appreciate the support!
*ducks and hides* Good question...did Roger know about Galen and stalk him or is it pure coincidence that he happened to be the person he chose to abduct that night? All will be revealed...slowy... lol Thanks again for editing. You are awesome!
