    I agree with Reader. I've read a few of your stories and enjoyed them very much. I wouldn't mind reading the ones that I haven't read yet, but can't since they're not there anymore. If you 'unarchive' them, I'm sure you will find people will still want to read them.

    One of my favorite singers is Canadian Loreena McKennitt. She takes classic poetry and other works, along with traditional Celtic/European songs/tales and sets them to music. Her voice is beautiful and the accompaniment never fails to take my breath away. I had the privilege of seeing her live several years ago and it stands out as probably the best concert I have ever attended. Her ability to blend so many diverse instruments into a cohesive whole is quite amazing. This is one of my favorites of hers. It's based on a piece written by Saint John of the Cross. It's a letter written to God, but it also serves as a beautiful love song. If I ever get married, this would be a song I would want played at my wedding. I hope you all like it as much as I do.

    I never saw that show. I envisioned a zombie holding a baby, then thought it would have more impact if I humanized the zombie and made them related. I'm glad that everyone liked my interpretation. Thanks so much for the review!

    Thanks, dughlas. Showing the human side of zombies was deliberate, but the social commentary wasn't specifically planned. Good point, though. The zombie could definitely be a stand-in for anyone deemed 'different'. Thanks for the great review.

    Thanks, Tim. I know it's on the short side, but didn't want to get too in-depth since it's a prompt response. There's definitely room for continuation, so let's see what future prompts inspire. I'm glad you liked it. I've written a little bit in third person, but it takes a bit of getting used to for me. I'm glad it worked.

    I had a high school history teacher who used to play classical music before class started and during breaks. He introduced us to a lot of composers, many of which I have since forgotten. I remember one that I loved, but unfortunately can't remember the exact name of the piece. It was a Russian composer and based on a fairy tale. Sleeping Beauty or Snow White or something. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable can point me in the right direction It's lovely Thanks for sharing

    Great interview! I really enjoyed this story and look forward to what you post next. In response to readers ignoring things that are 'too much of a coincidence'...it makes me think of the saying "truth is stranger than fiction". Sometimes things happen that are so bizarre they defy imagination. Like my brother moving from Western New York to Colorado and ending up on the same hockey team as a childhood friend from the midwest who spent summers with his grandma who lived next door to us. Hmm...that would make a good prompt story! lol
