I've been having the same issue since the last upgrade. The cover photo flashes for a second, then is blue, just like Thorn described. I use an HP laptop with Chrome.
I never mind reading more Parker poems The challenge is 30 poems in 30 days. There's nothing that says you have to write one per day. I double up on days fairly frequently.
I love the descriptions and personification in 23. I can picture it clearly. 24 is quintessential Parker. Love 25. In 26, you nailed loneliness in both poems. 28... more These are all so good... as always, I am in awe of your talent. I'm so glad you took up the reins of NaPo again, and love the addition of the 31st
I was right there with you for The Blue. I could see it clearly and smell the briny wind. Well done
The Way it Is describes you perfectly
I love love love What might have happened if? I could read it over and over.
The Gambler prompt was fun. I can see you in that hat
Calm Down is a good reminder for me too.
Congrats on an awesome month Until next year...
NaPoWriMo Week 5
Poem #26
Once we stood at the edge of the precipice,
Two different species moving as one,
Looking into the valley below
Bursting with red, yellow, and orange
Made even more vibrant by the clinging raindrops
Reflecting the rays that managed to part the clouds
Like Moses.
Our sides heaved from the exertion and exhilaration
Of the race, which we lost, but who cares?
The light breeze cooled our sweating bodies
And blew our breath cloud
*pets Cuddles, the Terrible and Snuggles, the Barbarian* It's ok... you guys are real. The silly deposed despot won't know what hits him when we attack.
A combination of ground beef, ground pork, and ground veal, browned and highly seasoned with black pepper, your favorite--garlic, and chili powder. I added tomato sauce, cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese and mixed it all together with some organic brown rice. Very tasty and I have a ton leftover to freeze for lunches.
