Lovely elves! I found their story both adorable and sexy, a really good combination in my mind. The show sexual charge of undressing gave it a slight Victorian but not dated feel.

It can be difficult to stand up to your parents, even when you're grown. Old habits die hard and we are so used to simply accepting their behaviour. So, good Andy stepped in and saved the day. Or rather the holiday. I'm pretty sure Penny's life isn't all perfect. If they could just talk brother to sister, maybe they could move on to a more adult relationship. And @droughtquake, the search for a Joel is not easy. If I find one, I'm afraid I'll end up keeping him myself. Just to bask in his awesomeness...

Kohen is waking up as a human again. Reconnecting with his younger self could be just the thing. Perhaps it's for the best Aparoe was interrupted. I'm not sure Kohen could have handled whatever it was they wanted to say.

The healing bond of mutual understanding makes it easier to trust and seek omfort. It works even without words. I'm guessing Dragon instinctively knew Galen shared his past. It brought tears ot my eyes and not only because I'm a horse nut.

The hardest part about this story for me was not the abuse, although that was terrible, but instead the divide between the adult world and the teen world. Justin was so sure no one, not even his parents, would believe him if he told them what was going on in that place. So sad to have a young person without support from the adults. Good that he has Chris at least. I think his friend is absolutely right. Justin needs to talk to someone about this.

Ben should relax a bit about his parenting. He seems to be doing just fine. What Clay needs is honesty and getting angry is honest. Clay really is a clear sighted teen! Interesting to hear about the US litigation process. But I'm a nerd for such things. I can understand Twyla feeling overwhelmed. Must be like putting a huge machine in process not knowing what will happen.

Making a list... That is too cute! But I get the mini-crushes. I can get those too. Very easy for the mind to spin out of control and imagine things. I'm hoping Sean will say they can meet up later. I think I would be in a bit more of a shock, even if I myself had been turned into a supernatural being. Kitryn doesn't seem aware of the concept of newly turned vamps.

I'm thinking Cyril is a modern guy. He'll have his phone off and then uninstall that thing... That would be Cyril's main thought too. What happens now? Not so easy to know. Fred is possessive, but hopefully not evil through and through. It is a flaw in the law here as well. Unless you are under attack physically, not much is done to remove the person threatening you. The jail time (if any) for threats is also far too low to match the impact on the other person's life. Not always so easy to find evidence either. I have a feeling Cyril is stronger than he might appear at first glance. But it will take time, for sure. Some scar will probably never heal, only become manageable.

I like the tech posts alot. Here, I must show my lack of tech savvy and admit I don't really understand when or why I would use this (other than the letter thing looks nice, although I find it difficult to read and therefore opt to not read stories written that way).
