Breaking format makes reading on my phone a bit weird, actually. So it's not just scrolling. The whole text and the comments are affected. In the same way as when people post images that "don't fit".

Since I get the impression you like Christmas, I'm sad to hear 2017 ended the way it did for you. I went close to home with this story and to see that readers got what I was trying to say is a relief. Not sure I can say I'm happy about it, but you understand what I mean. The passage almost strikes me harder now that you highlight it. Seeing that pain through the eyes of another is perhaps the filter I need to let it in. Or out. Not sure... Perhaps I came closer than I thought.

Oh wow... I felt worried about Mick. He has so much crap in his past, he really isn't in the best place to play with a potentially sinister bedmate. Even though he enjoys it. All those memories can trigger a terrible reaction. So his guys are a better fit.

This was a bit scary and I feel sorry for James. Not much of a cult if they don't even try to convert him before killing him. More a bunch of homicidal lunatics... Mesmerizing tale written very suggestively. Great take on the prompt!

Being careful with what you have and cherish it isn't always easy to remember. A reminder of loss can help you in the right direction. Sensible and magical. Sounds a bit like me actually... That hole isn't far off either. And there's no need to delete or hide your editing. It's good to be reminded of the perils of homonyms. Especially since I find they are increasing the more I write, strangely enough. I'll fix it when I get back to the city. Too scared to edit on my phone after one too many formatting incidents.
