Hmm... Can Ethan do what Orpheus couldn't? Keep the faith and love to persevere even in the face of Death? Maybe that's why Orpheus is so vile. He's jealous of a love stronger than his. To see someone capable of doing what he failed to do.

What a choice to make... To forget because it's too painful. I'd like to think remembering is better since it keeps the love alive even when lost. But then again I would never live for an eternity...

LOL Sounds like the guys had a very nice evening! I'm happy for Toby, though I can't believe he's never been so happy he cried. Not everyone is a crier, but the emotion should be easy enough to understand.

I think Caleb was seeing his own helplessness and need for love, not Ethan's. As if he was projecting his question. Caleb wants to know how Ethan can love him, when he's such a coward about his emotions. The journal was heartbreaking. -
A marriage to celebrate their love is a great idea. To wear those rings with pride won't require a legal seal of approval.

Getting his thoughts in order was perhaps necessary, but he could have left with a bit more of a goodbye. Not just go feral and leave. Every man has his breaking point, though. I just hope the gun isn't a sign of more trouble... Park doesn't need more guilt. -
I definitely think addictive behaviour is hereditary. I know I have it from my father and his parents. Since he died when I was so young and we hardly met his parents, it's not something I learned. On occasion, I drink too much. Not enough to need therapy, but enough to slap myself so I get my act together. Not sure if this is the same for Jake. His mother isn't leading by example. So it's perhaps twice as hard to avoid.

I got the weird feeling Caleb will face himself at the destination. Getting to the absolute truth to set himself free. Not an easy feat, so he has his work cut out for him.

So teaching magic? To get to the skill level required, Ethan has his work cut out for him. But he's motivated at least. I'm wondering about the timeline. Could Caleb's part of the story be before Ethan shows up? Or is Caleb walking around the afterlife at the same time Ethan and Liz are working their magic ( )?
