LOL I'm glad not all jocks are neanderthals in this story. It can get a bit much sometimes. Also, the gym without showering afterwards? In Sweden, that would be totally unthinkable. Personally, I would be itching for the rest of the day. And possibly smell... Weird.

What a relief Adelin was saved. And interesting to see Kellar and Tobyn work together, combining their energy to heal her. I guess the next step as far as the pack goes will be to find out the cause of the malaise. I'm also thinking Kellar and Tobyn need to have a talk when they wake up. I hope Kellar doesn't just leave. Although my guess is his healer instincts will want to get to the bottom of this. And his heart and body will want to stay near Tobyn. Question is what Tobyn will do? Time to get real...

Hmm... Is Lawson feeling bad because he was mean to Cory or is he feeling bad because he has lost someone he can talk to and perhaps manipulate...? Regardless, if he apologises to Cory, I hope Cory will not simply forget what happened. That would only make it OK in Lawson's mind to say hurtful things. Getting Lawson to face what he has done will be difficult though. He seems more interested in avoiding the matter after a quick 'I'm sorry'.

Aaaahh.... What a sweet epilogue. And funny! So good to see things working out for them little by little. I like that Ezra isn't doing the hockey partner thing and giving up his own life. It must be alluring though, to stay with him full time.

Dorian has to face so many things and deal with other people's attitude and opinions. I hope he can find the strength to hold on to his own ideas about how he wants to live his life. Choosing when and if you have sex is a big deal. To be coerced or nagged into it is not OK. I just wonder what Avery is up to now...

So very slowly they inch their way towards each other. Tiny steps to not spook Kye, who isn't so timid after all. LOL Can Ash already have shown him he can be trusted and will not hurt him? Trust is building, and I hope they get a few more moments of sweetness before they have to deal with Barrett.

They are very sensible, these boys. Very much keeping their hormones in check! Then again, I guess despite what some say even young guys can want to take it slow. It's a bit scary to take that step. A matter of trust. Also, sad to read about them not daring to hold hands... A harsh reality... I wish it wasn't so.

Poor Warren! It’s so sad to see him still feeling so insecure about himself. Add to that the constant roller coaster between hope and despair, it wouldn’t be a wonder if he sought comfort in food again. Drinking didn’t seem to work… I so hope that Jenna has the tenacity to keep reaching for that goal and not give in to the old-fashioned ways of the pack. She’s only 9, but already has such drive. So why couldn’t she be a Beta? The MetaVerse has a thing for four letter teachers. Bode, Mier, Duta… (And would you believe we discussed an old Swedish musician Johnny Bode this weekend? I had never heard of him before…) For some reason, I found some connections to the prompt Sane. Warren being the husky and his badge number is the patient’s number. The pictures on the walls in the kitchen made me think of the prompt Loom. Could Iris be connected to the young boy Ratni dying in the factory? Is she that old? Well, why not? Anything goes in the MetaVerse…

This was a violent chapter... It's difficult to read about Ysabel, but I find it interesting to see she's so split in two. I guess with her upbringing it's almost inevitable. Unless you lose your mind completely. To see she actually appears to have feelings for her children is surprising which in itself shows just how warped the Nabians are. We don't even expect affection for their own children.

That kind of fur and fluff might not be my cup of tea, but I'm sure Alex and Sven will have a sure fire way to stay warm in the winter from now on...

Dorian can't catch a break... Not even left in peace at the meeting. And Raleigh is seriously scary... Walking around feeling entitled to whatever based on sheer strength. Unfortunately, even if Dorian tells A very, I have a feeling it will be swept under the rug. To just have Dorian connected to anything like that could tip off the opposition or the press. Dad can't have that...

Oh, I like Clint. And his dad. They give the impression of a close knit family, the three of them against the world. I guess with a supporter like that, you really can climb any mountain. Still, I feel sorry for Clint having to go through all that when he's new at school. Even if there aren't outright cruel kids, he'll still hear about this. A lot... Then again, he might start to talk to people so it could work out in the end after all. Nice to read a story from your funny side. It will be a good summer read!

Nice but short, this one. I like that we get to know the guys slowly but surely. A lot of emotions at play here. So much going on in the background that we only get hints of.

Out of the mouths of babes, huh...? LOL Jason needs to realise his interest in Corey is not as secret as he likes to think. He won't be able to contain his growing feelings (yes, feelings! Get your minds out of the gutter!) much longer. I just hope he doesn't spring everything on Corey. That could go wrong, if Corey gets spooked and starts to think about their past again. So, steady as she goes, Jason...

Phew! Well, now we can all breath easy again. They will have each other going over what happened and dealing with the after math. Deke must be so relieved. Good for Kraig to have someone to hold on to for support. His journey back to life won't be easy, I think...

Wow... When I thought Travis and the goons could stoop no lower, they start to blackmail him... Add to that his father's hurtful ways and Dorian is right. He'll have to find his inner strength or he will go under.

I'm with Lux too. Pups can be ensured in other ways. No need to get married just for that sake. Then I think they should consider they've only known each other for a few days. Sure, they're really young, but they should play it a little cooler and see what happens. Why decide everything right away? They still have no idea if Kellar can help. I'm glad Tilly isn't some bitchy monster of a girlfriend. Having her be a nice and decent person makes things more interesting.

How cute! The boys are trying to be so mature and grown up. I think they're doing a good job, but I'm guessing they'll soon want to go somewhere a bit more private... For a deep and meaningful conversation of course!

That was a grim tale, with a bit of sunshine at the end. I'm not one for violence, but in this case I won't be sleepless over Jack. You did a great job at guiding us through the darkness.

This was a chapter I almost read through my fingers as I covered my eyes in embarrassment. I feel so bad for Cory, making such a fool of himself like that. Poor thing. He wasn't ready for the friends thing at all. Also, when a relationship ends like that, I doubt they'll ever be ready. It's one thing if the break up is done thoughtfully. Leaving someone for their best friend...? Not so much. Cory shouldn't let Lawson get to him like that. It's scary to see how susceptible he is to whatever that man says. Not good if Lawson realizes just how much...
