That's the spirit, Zac! I can understand his anger and perhaps mostly frustration with Adrian, but I think he really doesn't understand. Still hope his team mates are supportive.

You know with an ending like that, there will be requests (or more likely demands) for a sequel! What does Been nan think about what just happened? Are they stuck on seeing each other just a few hours each year? That said, it's impressive how you can tell a complete story in such few words. I really need to learn that...

I'm really intrigued by your story as it's so very different from the usual ones here. The darkness is compact and the image you paint of the party scene is chilling. Using and abusing... The people who knew the whole event was sick but went ahead anyway... To get to know man who is not a good man is fascinating. And as always, your writing is amazing. That said I must add two things that bothered me. First I find his coming from being raped in severe pain very strange. Of course, I'm not a man and lack knowledge of the pure physical aspects of the male anatomy, but would a guy who never gives it up really respond like that? Second, his realization of his own flaws and despicable acts came a bit sudden. His personality (arrogant and callous) would make me expect either anger or denial at this stage, the morning after. Running away yes, but to plot his revenge or just getting out of there to forget it ever happened. Not accepting it as fair turnabout. He's been repeatedly raped, drugged and humiliated. That to me would spark a more intense reaction. Just a few thoughts...

That was the best present ever! What a great idea for a special friend. I don't get why Emmet is so hesitant to take things further, but it could be that he senses the beginning of something amazing. Not to be rushed. Well, they have a month.

I wouldn't mind a lot more books in this series. And one with Preston and Indie would be sooo great! The mix of hot sex (totally understand your hubby...) and emotion is simply amazing. Your characters make sense and seem like actual people, not dream versions of humans.

A very informational Metaview. Only wish I could decipher it all. So who is Fate? I was thinking Betsy, but something about her doesn't fit. Fate smells good anyway. The boy chooses his own army of strength to fight evil? Or is it the power using boy after boy for its fight that chooses? Surprising to hear that wolves don't seem to be the standard army. That should mean there are other creatures to battle evil. So are vampires and wolves mere pawns in this particular cycle? Even though their fight has been going on forever? So many questions. Interesting to see the idea of no light without darkness... It appears Duta is the Messenger.

Knowing Clint, the surprise could be anything... But I'm guessing something romantic. Maybe floating candles? Could be a hassle in the pool though... I hope Zane realizes he isn't alone. His friends do care, even if they are sometimes busy. One screw up isn't the end of the world. He can relax and rely on others on occasion.

Now that was a shock! But I guess growing up with a father like that is bound to leave traces... Stupid to take things out on Clint, but Zane feels safe with him and his emotions run away... Not good.

I think Zac's parents should be very proud of their son and themselves for raising such a decent human being. Perhaps Kenny can realize the errors of his ways eventually and leave his bigotry behind. Somehow I can't believe his track team mates will turn their backs on him. Not all at least.

Shar pei puppy had me crying. So true... And a very valid question at the end. Why is it so hard to simply let others live their lives the best they know how to?

Uh-oh... Kiorl has his work cut out for him. How can he prove himself to an angel in denial? Such high standards. And all that inexperience to boot. Fallen pride indeed.
