TC2 - Chapter 3: Meet Tibot, Adam’s Brother
Reader1810 commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 3: Meet Tibot, Adam’s Brother
The maternal grandparents are unbelievable! They disown their grandson, but they have no trouble suing his dad for back child support on behalf of the mother's estate - at least, I think it was them and not just the State looking to cash in? Whatever happens, I hope it blows up in their faces! Grrr..... As for the stuff with Adam's brother? Wow... How do you come back from that? Great chapter, A. Looking forward to chapter 4. -
That was beautiful, tim. moggy would have been pleased, no doubt.

Poor moggy. A life full of trials and yet she had the strength and determination to keep going. RIP my friend

I don't know who they managed to get this tribute put together so quickly, but it's wonderful and humbling and amazing. @BlindAmbition The players on both teams have the Broncos written on the back of their hockey jerseys in place of their respective names. I've only seen one other video of players doing the same, but I think most if not all of the NHL teams have done this. I also one game where the team's logo was painted on the ice to pay tribute to the team.

I first heard about this in the wee hours earlier today. I'm in tears again just thinking about all - and who - has been lost. It is just beyond sad. And Steve? I did think about you when I read this, and I wondered how this was affecting you. my friend

Do it or don’t do it. Do do what suits you best. And yes, I did think about how that sounded.

Will I or Won’t I... Love this title! Reminds me of your musings about participating again this year.

TC2 - Chapter 2: Meet the Grandparents
Reader1810 commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 2: Meet the Grandparents
Nice chapter, A. Apart from Rob’s emotional upsets - totally understandable, of course - this chapter was clear sailing under blue skies. That is, until you introduced us to Tobit. What’s up with him - I do have a few guesses - I wonder? As for that “call me” cliffhanger? Hmm... and uh oh... Looking forward to chapter three, yes I am! -
Being emotional when you think of Ripley shows how much he meant to you and how much you loved him. He - and Micheal - was your anchor as you found your way to the life you have now. The funny stories of Ripley’s antics - even the ones you pretended did nothing but exasperate you - delighted us all. We saw the reciprocal love and devotion of your bond. Those funny stories will push away the sadness, but it’s going to take time. Ripley, by all accounts, was a special pooch. I’m glad you had him in your life to give you joy.

I didn’t know either, molly. Kind of brilliant, isn’t it’s? -

My eyes are wet as I am unbelievably moved... This is just so amazing. I am riveted to my screen as I read these spellbinding words. I will be reading them again and again of that I am sure. There are no accolades high enough or good enough to express how good these word are and the power they have to make me feel... Bravo to you both! Edit: didn't stop to ponder my response, I just let it flow and wrote what I felt. -

The Evidence Room - a haibun
Reader1810 commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in The Evidence Room - a haibun
After reading tim’s words, I thought I should see this for myself, but I’m not so sure. I went to the Pompeii exhibit when it was at the ROM in 2015. While the devastation wasn’t manmade, it was still hard to see knowing the plaster casts were once real people. tim’s words are hard to read, but they should be because what happened and the people it happened to, should never be forgotten. -

I have no words... -
I didn't always like or understand poetry, and my appreciation for this type of literature was close to nonexistent. Then I read one of tim's creations... They run the gamut of the emotion spectrum, but most importantly, they make you pause and ponder about their meaning. And thanks to tim's telling me to interpret them as I see fit, I felt comfortable giving my not so learned opinion in the comment section. So, even if you've never read a poem in your life, give these a try and leave a comment. How you feel about what they say, will not be wrong.

March Classic Author Feature: Paying the Piper by Libby Drew
Reader1810 commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
This one looks really interesting, so I had a look at her list of stories. Looks like I’ll be adding to my To Read List. -
I looked up the definition to be sure, so yeah, I’m thinking humble doesn’t quite fit the bill now that I know you better. This I have said before, and tim agrees: you are not his rock, you are his boulder. That’s a good thing...
-
Powerful and evocative words. This makes me sad and wish for what should have been, not what was. Knowing you made it out and to something beautiful, tempers that feeling. Thank you for sharing your words with us, and as always, nicely done tim, nicely done.

Using words for good or evil - the superpower analogy, molly.
-
That was wonderfully brilliant, molly! Literally “food for thought” as the saying goes. What you’ve said here is something that needs to be read and digested, so the lessons you are teaching will be savoured slowly and with care. I love, too, that you included @MacGreg‘s poem, because it’s brilliant, too. One thing, I will say, I don’t just utilize “taste your words before you spit them out” for the sour things in life, but for sweet as well. It’s always good to think before you speak, so you get what you want to say just right.

inamoratos. plural, noun - very cool word, tim As for the poem? As usual, you can do no wrong when it comes to poetry.

Do You Know That I Love You? by Mark Roeder
Reader1810 commented on Myr's blog entry in Myr's Corner
Read this and was intrigued so I decided to investigate the author and see what else he’s written. I don’t know how many books are in his library, but I’ve added a few to my Amazon Wish List... Thanks, Myr! -
Your peace brings me peace. I could feel it with every word I read... Nicely done, tim
